A Democrat in the California State Senate just STUNNED the entire floor with her fiery speech against her own party

“I’m done. I’m done with us protecting people who would buy and abuse our children.”

“I don’t want people buying little girls anymore. And I’m tired of saying it’s okay and that we have to protect the men who do it.”

House Committee Demands Fauci Cough Up Info From Personal Devices After Adviser Admitted To Dodging FOIAs

The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic will send a letter Wednesday to Dr. Anthony Fauci requesting access to his email and cell phone for any information that relates to COVID-19 origins, EcoHealth alliance and their investigation.

The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the letter, which was sent by Republican Ohio Rep. Brad Wenstrup, the chairman of the select subcommittee. In it, he mentions the testimony of Fauci’s senior advisor at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Dr. David Morens and how the doctor recently testified before the subcommittee after they uncovered evidence that suggests he intentionally obstructed their investigations into the origins of COVID-19 to protect Fauci.

In June 2023, Morens appeared to attempt to avoid potential Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests by using his personal email instead of his work email, a letter from Wenstrup reads. Lawmakers have also questioned if he destroyed federal records, according to the letter.

Newly uncovered emails suggest Morens also contacted Dr. Fauci by his email, according to Wenstrup’s new letter. When the select subcommittee asked Dr. Morens about this at his hearing last week, specifically if he sent any Covid info to Fauci’s email, he responded by saying: “I don’t remember.”

“As you know, the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic (Select Subcommittee) is investigating the origins of COVID-19. This investigation includes EcoHealth Alliance, Inc.’s (EcoHealth) activities at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), failures to monitor and enforce conditions required in EcoHealth’s grant, facilitation of gain-of-function research, and efforts by government and non-government officials to obstruct and delay our oversight efforts,” Wenstrup writes in the letter.

“As a part of the probe, we are reviewing thousands of communications from your former Senior Scientific Advisor, Dr. David Morens. The Select Subcommittee possesses communications from Dr. Morens in which he suggests he sent you official congressional correspondence related to COVID-19 to your personal e-mail account and that he had a ‘secret back channel’ to you,” the letter continues.

51 persons arrested in crackdown on labour exploitation

334 potential victims and 160 perpetrators identified during EMPACT Joint Action Days conducted by 31 countries across Europe

From 20 to 27 April 2024, law enforcement, border guards and labour and tax authorities across Europe joined forces to identify and tackle labour exploitation. The EMPACT Joint Action Days (JADs) once again targeted human trafficking for labour exploitation purposes, in particular the exploitation of non-EU nationals and refugees. Led by the Netherlands, and carried out by authorities from 31 countries with support from Europol and the European Labour Authority (ELA), the action days led to the arrest of 51 persons and identification of 334 potential victims of human trafficking.

Overall, the results of the action include:

15 313 officers from law enforcement and labour and tax authorities participated in the action

165 896 entities checked (including 63 649 persons, 9 564 locations, 20 556 vehicles and 76 670 documents)

160 persons suspected of trafficking human beings identified (of which 93 for labour exploitation)

51 persons arrested for various crimes (of which 30 for labour exploitation)

334 potential victims of human trafficking identified (of which 279 potential victims of labour exploitation)

476 new investigations in various crimes launched (of which 80 in labour exploitation)

The aim of the week-long activity was for authorities to target the forms of labour exploitation most relevant or prevalent in their respective countries. Countries performed inspections in a broad range of sectors such as catering, gastronomy, food delivery, food and meat processing, beauty services, domestic health services, logistics and distribution, agriculture, construction and mining.

Following its previous iterations, the action featured a prominent multidisciplinary approach. The work of national and regional police bodies, border guards, tax authorities, labour authorities and labour inspectorates was coordinated and supported by Europol and the European Labour Authority. Several inspections with enforcement authorities from different countries jointly inspecting companies were facilitated. As a result, the operation benefitted from better flow of information and raised awareness of human trafficking indicators. This close collaboration between various authorities and law enforcement significantly contributed to the success of the action week fighting labour exploitation.

Europol supported the Joint Action Days around the clock, with analysts processing data shared by participating authorities. Apart from coordinating operational activities and facilitating information exchange, Europol provided analytical and operational support 24/7. It facilitated real-time exchange of communication between participating authorities and deployed experts to help investigators on the ground.

Australian Health Minister urges countries to find a way for WHO’s Pandemic Treaty to progress

Australian Health Minister Mark Butler addressed the 77th World Health Assembly (“WHA”) and called for an urgent road map to finalise WHO’s Pandemic Treaty.

These efforts follow the failure of the International Negotiating Body to reach an agreement on the proposed text.

To show his determination and commitment to the cause, Butler called for the “binding” Treaty to be resurrected and progressed as fast as possible not in just one speech at the WHA, but in two.
