clueless-anon here trying to understand the Trump trial/conviction talking point where they've been saying that even now, after the

verdict, "we still don't know what the crime was".

but wasn't the multiple choice buffet between

3 things? election violation, tax fraud and

falsification of dox.

aren't each of those individually, considered

a crime?

add to that the whole "34 COUNTS" part

leaves me even more confused.

any legal-anons here able to help edjumicate me?

kek

but, wasn't that what he was being accused of from the get go? when the announcement of indictments were first made, weren't those part of the list of 34 felonies(crimes) they were accusing him of making?

basically, in my brain:

indictement:

hey Trump, these are the crimes

you committed: you did this, this and this.

opening statement at trial:

hey Jury, these are the crimes

Trump committed: he did this, this and this.

closing statement

based on what we've presented,

he's guilty of this, this and this.

so, why are they saying we don't

know what the crime was that

he supposedly committed?
