Ukraine's Zelenskiy expected to attend Singapore security summit
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is expected to attend the Shangri-La Dialogue security conference in Singapore this weekend, six sources said, as Ukraine faces a renewed assault two years after Russian forces invaded.
Security assistance for Ukraine is expected to be one of the key issues discussed at this year's dialogue, Asia's premier security conference. U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and the Chinese defence minister, Dong Jun, are among those attending.

Ukraine concludes long-term security deals with Sweden and Norway
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky concluded long-term security agreements with Sweden and Norway on May 31, a sign of Western commitment to Ukraine as Kyiv seeks further military support from the West in the war with Russia.
Mr Zelensky visited Stockholm as Western nations discuss whether to let Kyiv use weapons provided by them to strike targets inside Russia, which began its full-scale invasion over two years ago is now attacking Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine. He said Ukraine’s use of any Western weapon to strike Russian territory was now only “a question of time”. The security deals with Sweden and Norway - as well as Iceland - bring to 15 the number of agreements Kyiv has signed with Western nations. The Nordics are all now Nato countries and have all been staunch supporters of Ukraine. Under the latest deal, Sweden will transfer two ASC 890 surveillance aircraft - seen as crucial for identifying incoming cruise missiles and drones and identifying targets in the air and at sea - as well as its entire stock of armoured tracked personnel carriers.

For the month of May, all three rates had their biggest one-month declines since last December. The 2-year rate fell 15.2 basis points this month, while the 10-year rate dropped 17.1 basis points and its 30-year counterpart declined 13.7 basis points.
Data released on Friday showed the U.S. personal-consumption-expenditures (PCE) price index, the Federal Reserve’s favored inflation gauge, rose 0.3% for April, as economists had expected. 

Meanwhile, the narrower measure, which strips out food and energy increased by a smaller 0.2% — the smallest gain since the final month of last year. This helped soothe some concerns that progress on disinflation might have stalled. After the report, fed-funds futures traders priced in at least one rate cut from the Federal Reserve this year, as soon as September.
