>>20955471 We got them! The New York Courts just deleted the page that shows Judge Juan Merchan works as a DOJ funded Fellow!

Have some good sauce and screencap for NY Court webpage re: Merchan and ASTER.

Juan Manuel Merchan, ASTER, Robert M. Bell, Congress, the DOJ, NIH, EINSHAC, NCSI, National Human Genome Research Institute and More

The following NY Court/Merchan/ASTAR/fellow page was archived on 2 Apr 2024. Notice, it says Merchan is presently an ASTAR fellow (2021 - present). The ASTAR page is a 2006 page but the links on the ASTAR pages work and go to current pages. According to theNIHNational Human Genome Research Institute, ASTAR is funded by the DOJ as mandated by Congress. See 2/6 this thread for information about ASTAR and NIH. You can't make this stuff up. Is any Senator going to ask Anthony Fauci, during today's hearing, if he knows Judge Merchan? Does this collaboration (congress, DOJ, the entire legal system, NIH, EINSHAC, NCSI, ASTAR, National Human Genome Research Institute) allow very powerful people to meddle in any individual's day to day life?

According to National Courts and Sciences Institute, before ASTAR was ASTAR, it was the Einstein Institute for Science Health and the Courts (EINSHAC). Later, ASTAR became National Courts and Sciences Institute (NCSI) (2014-2016). Anon has not found its current name.

"ASTAR isfunded by the U.S. Department of Justice, which ismandated by Congressto offer the science and technology resource judge program to all U.S. jurisdictions. Since 2006, the center has held regional science and technology boot-camps and has offered training to several hundred judges across the country. In turn, the judges become a resource for their colleagues on the bench. A judge who earns120 hours of ASTAR education, learning the terms of reference of court-related science and technology evidence and issues, canbecome an ASTAR fellow."

"ASTAR's evolving partnership withScientific American, thepremier publisher of mainstream science and technology, permits every resource judge to search the magazine's on-line archives. It also permits ordering prior theme publications in support of Platform A and Platform B educational modules. Currently under development is a series of printed desk books referencing selected sectors of scientific evidence common or expected in the Nation's courtrooms. An example is forensic evidence, where judges report a robust impact fromCSI television program."
