Blumenthal railed harder than hell against RR in the confirmation hearing. He was bizarrely, visibly shaking like he had a bomb strapped to his ass. Watch his hands. They have a weird conversation about hypothetical scenarios about what a prosecutors job is when a witness is knowingly providing false information. RR answers by saying he would not correct the witness or tell the court if it were in front of a Grand Jury, but he would if it were at a trial. Blumenthal goes on to say he will not vote for RR because he will not commit to naming a special prosecutor. RR eventually does.

Regarding q Post 35.

Why did RR write a letter supporting the termination of Comey.

In his letter, he explains, among other reasons, that it is grossly inappropriate for the FBI to offer an opinion about whether or not prosecution should take place. Comey offered such an opinion in the Clinton Email case because Loretta Lynch was in such a conflicted position having just been caught meeting slick willy J clinton on the tarmac.

This anon's opinion is that lynch should have recused and let whoever was deputy attorney General make that decision.

The other 5 people who voted against rosenstein did not ask RR any questions during the hearing.(I didn't watch all of it, its 3.5 hours, but i scanned through looking for them and could have missed them).

Blumenthal is the key here i believe.

I need to add that RR was ostensibly confirmed on the grounds that he was NOT going to name a special prosecutor(in Mueller).

I don't know how exactly to interpret this, I'm only an amateur legalfag. We're probably going to see RR's name on the FISA warrant application. Does his super technical answer about a prosecutor not correcting false testimony apply here? Did he knowingly stamp the FISA application to give the "conspirators" enough rope to hang themselves with understanding he had legal cover because it was not his job in the department of justice to vett the intel? This would make him kind of a double agent and could explain his smiles leaving the white house. Why was Blumenthal even asking about what he would do in the knowingly false information scenario. Blumenthal was a prosecutor too. It all looks strange to me in hindsight.

I have a hard time seeing Elizabeth Warren being a member of this inner circle. She doesn't seem like a ruthless cutthroat politician. Maybe she has me fooled because she looks like my grandmother. She is usually full on libtard, but her work on CFPB has some merit, at least for the little guys. I know trump is dismantling the CFPB, but I've seen it first hand really help Americans who were getting fucked by banks. If you have a problem with a bank and walk into a branch talking about filing a CFPB complaint, you will get your problem fixed immediately(assuming its legit).

If potus is holding photo/video evidence of the cabal sexually abusing children in his back pocket he cannot be impeached. Zero chance.

That is the biggest political nuke you can have. Normal rules would no longer apply. It wouldn't matter if the evidence was questionably obtained.
