Poor Kavanaugh is just a sacrificial lamb - he won't be confirmed, or, at best the left is going to make a mockery of it, rake him over the coals (hope the guy never got caught on camera jay walking, they'll make a nuremburg trial out of it).
In the end, he'll withdraw and then Barrett will be named and subsequently confirmed.
