the first i heard that globally we were under a debt based economy was when i was following the comments section of a reuters article durinig the fukishima meltdown and amongst the numerous nuclear physicists posting foretelling notes on how the floor of the reactor was going to melt into the watershed table and explode radioactive steam when it did, which happened, but also economists were in there posting about the unknown catastrophe occurring to the worlds economy as japan was the third largest economy at that time and this tsunami was taking it out….. and they went on to explain how everything globally is based on debt…. very shocking to realize that banksters want us perpetually in debt, consumers, consuming and consuming and never satisfied till paychecks gone,,, and esp when we borrow money to buy more stuff
