I think the current version is good enough. While reading through Exodus I got kind of depressed how much God punished the Israelites. I asked myself 'Why?'. Then the answer came: 'Gratitude'. All of a sudden at that realization, my chest area exploded with Love like I never felt before. Everytime I said the word 'Gratitude' in my head someone around me said 'Thank you', again, and again, and again prob like 10-15 times right after I said 'Gratitude' in my head, someone said 'Thank you' right after. It even carried on over to the next morning. So I got the sign I was looking for from God.

The Israelites were constantly complaining even after being set free from Slavery so God punished them with all sorts of Laws that even if they made a simple mistake, God would strike them down. Big lessons from the Israelite stories but generally I just stick with Genesis for Law stuff.

I said I generally stick with Genesis for Law stuff but Leviticus had some rules for foreigners too so not just the Israelites. The Laws given to Moses were for the Israelites, not everyone technically. The Covenant made to Noah applied to all Generations (everyone) so God and Man would evolve together in making laws.

Genesis9:6

“6Whoever sheds human blood,

by humans shall their blood be shed;

for in the image of God

has God made mankind.

Humans shall judge Humans. Also it is Genesis 9:6 the covenant was made. 9 the Number of God, 6 the number of man. In the image of God is like God calling us His bro.
