Reminds anon of the hysteria that surrounded the bricks dropped off for construction posted on social media. Someone sees a big bundle of bricks and thinks it must be pre-positioned for rioting. Turns out bricklayers actually used them to build something.

That's not to say that rioting could not, or did not, happen. If anything, posting the location of said bundle of bricks gave them tactical information that they did not have before.

Sometimes the arrival of the bricks marks the start with no other evident signs of construction to that point. Example, people want a brick mailbox constructed because the old metal one on a post keeps getting smashed by kids with baseball bats. Or landscaping of one sort or another. People conflate. They conflate a lot. Also delivery guy could have gotten a wrong address. Nobody thinks about this shit. They just jump to the worst possible fear porn. Because fear porn is what they want. For whatever reason.
