all it does is set it up for a mistrial and he can be retried. It makes zero sense for this to be happening. Will Trump call out the jury system now if he is retried.
I think it might be a way for Merchan to distance himself. I doubt the original message was even legit. Because will they publicly charge that juror? well it is happening duh no shit the question is why and who benefits. Trump would win on appeal anyways so all I can see this as is a delay tactic to keep him tied up in court longer. There could also be the idea that it is a set up against conservatives, trying to do things to get their convicted felon out of trouble. They can choose to do lots of things give up and stop would be nice. They will not and they have not. They are going to keep hitting till they bust.
