God used them to bring about the Promised Messiah. He revealed Himself to them. He chose to reveal Himself to them. He chose to use them to bring about Jesus, the Promised Messiah. But they need to believe.
Whether they are genetically Jewish or not, does not matter. It never did matter. The only thing that mattered is that Jesus was Jewish.
