The Left Knows Leftism Doesn’t Work

If Biden and his handlers have taught us anything, human nature cannot be fooled, and the current four-year experiment will have to end before it ends us—and soon.

Do not expect the radical left to survey the wreckage of socialism and communism in history and accept that statism impoverishes people and erodes their freedoms. There will never be admissions by our elite that progressivism exists mainly for the acquisition of power by the utopian and virtue-signaling few, who ensure that they are never subject to the baleful implementation of their ideological agendas on the rest of us.

Still, leftists look around at what they have done to America in the last four years and implicitly know that the plan did not work, the people detested it, or both.

How do we know this? By a variety of barometers.

None of the major Biden “achievements”—10 million illegal aliens across a nonexistent border, key components of the cost of living 25-30 percent higher than in 2020, wars and chaos abroad, DEI racial and tribal obsessions, wars on fossil fuels—poll at even 40-45 percent. Biden’s own approval ratings, as the nominal architect of the most left-wing agenda since the Roosevelt administration, hover between 36 and 34 percent.

But most importantly, the left is not running on its record of the last three-and-a-half years but instead studiously ignoring it, at least temporarily through November. Suddenly, we aren’t hearing so much about cancelling pipelines and freezing federal oil leases, or so much demonization of the “greedy” oil companies. Instead, Biden is further draining the strategic petroleum reserve and begging OPEC in general and the no-longer-demonized Saudi Arabia in particular to pump oil as fast as possible.

We were lied to for nearly four years that the border was “secure,” as 10 million foreign nationals flooded across. Then we were told Biden was helpless to stop the deluge since he had no legal right to enforce federal immigration law through executive orders—a ridiculous excuse that even he would soon drop. Despite their eagerness for new constituencies, no one on the left dares to openly praise the influx of the last four years, much less demand more illegal immigration.

Less than a week after Joe Biden announced a border crackdown, the Washington Examiner, reports that the Border Patrol has been told to let the illegals flow on in:

EXCLUSIVE — U.S. Border Patrol agents in Southern California have been instructed to admit migrants from far-off countries rather than place them in removal proceedings, a move that goes against the White House’s Tuesday ban on asylum-seekers.

A government document given to federal law enforcement in San Diego, California, following President Joe Biden’s executive order to keep migrants from seeking asylum in the United States advises that migrants from all but six of the more than 100 countries in the Eastern Hemisphere be released into the United States rather than deported.

The instruction contradicts what senior Biden administration officials told reporters in a call on Tuesday would be the case for migrants from Eastern Hemisphere countries who traveled through multiple countries without seeking asylum in order to reach the U.S., referred to as extra-hemispheric migrants.

Now we learn that the border stays open for huge numbers of migrants because Biden refuses to detain them, as the law requires, and would rather continue the catch-and-release policy to ensure the border flow.

What a liar this creature is. As the left wrung its hands over the supposed crackdown and called him 'Trump,' he never meant a word of it. Border's still open and no surprise, the illegals are still flowing on in.

MIGRANT CRIME ROUND-UP: Cop Shooters, Cover Ups, and Texas’ Most Wanted.

WOULD-BE COP KILLER.

The highest-profile illegal alien to be criminally charged in recent days is Bernardo Raul Castro Mato, a 19-year-old Venezuelan accused of shooting two New York Police Department (NYPD) officers during a foot chase.

Mato allegedly shot NYPD Officer Christopher Abreu, 26, in the leg, and Officer Richard Yarusso, 26, in the chest, before being brought down by gunfire himself. The Venezuelan is a suspect in several scooter-borne robberies, often targeting women. He crossed the border illegally last summer, but the immigration case against him was closed.

MOST WANTED.

Texas has unveiled a ’10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants’ list, featuring nine at-large pedophiles and one captured murderer who had violated his parole conditions. The ten illegals are all described as ‘White (Hispanic),’ [What??] with the Lone Star State offering rewards of up to $5,000 for the top five and $3,000 for the remainder.

VICTIMIZING THE MOST VULNERABLE.

Rigberto Hoyos-Alban, a Colombian illegal, has been apprehended by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after being charged with four counts of sexual assault and one count of assault against “a person with a severe mental handicap” in Rhode Island.

“This is not the type of individual we want walking the streets of our New England neighborhoods,” said ICE official Todd M. Lyons.

Hoyos-Alban crossed the border illegally in November. Like many of the illegals featured in The National Pulse’s migrant crime round-ups, he was let loose among the public by the local authorities after being charged despite ICE issuing a detainer request against him.

GUATEMALAN PEDOPHILE.

ICE announced it had detained Raul Calderon-Interiano, convicted of sexually abusing a Maryland minor, on Monday. As with Hoyos-Alban, he was set at liberty among the public in defiance of an ICE detainer despite the agency describing him as “a significant threat” to Maryland children.

Baltimore County Detention Center not only refused to honor the ICE detainer against the pedophile, they did not even inform ICE of the date they released him.
