Satan gave Jesus all authority over his minions. Even the nastiest demons would kneel to Jesus as soon as they saw him. Imagine the level of suffering Jesus had to go through to gain this level of respect.
Luke 10:18-19
Jesus: I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven and he said "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."
Jesus actually saw his death in a vision and accept his fate. To defeat the greedy Jews he had to die to reveal to the people who the enemy was. Otherwise the Jews twisted words and lied to get what they wanted so it was the only way.
"Be wise like a serpent, and innocent like a dove". Before Jesus' death he was like a General giving a battle speech to his soldiers / disciples.

Luke 14:26
"“If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple."
Jesus said God is Good, not me. Jesus was a Special Forces mission from God to save us from the Jews.
Which is no wonder the Jews hate Jesus so much.
