The Bible says it's going to get 7x brighter.

Book of Enoch was intentionally hidden It has chapters on Astronomy and goes into in depth detail on fallen watchers (angels), abysses and so much that is mentioned in the Bible. (Antarctica)
Book of Jubilees is excellent too, though a wee bit longer.
