You don't use God's word in the context of his precepts, and you define him with one verse. Fire has many causes and effects in the Bible, depending on circumstances. Getting fried was definitely one of them, the result of disobedience, as was the case of Aaron's 2 older sons. We all pass through the fire, the crucible.
