The source being Zachariah Sitchin, an economist who couldn't read a single word of Sumerian, and his fever dream inspired and easily debunked writings.

No. But finding the actual translations of the texts with explanations of how they arrived at those conclusions are readily available.
Anunnaki rougly means "Offspring of Anu".
Anu might have been their first ruler or it might just have been their word for king or ruler.
