Congress Preparing for 2 New UFO Hearings: What We Know So Far

June 13, 2024

In the wake of July 2023’s explosive UAP hearing, Congress is gearing up for another deep dive into the mysteries beyond unidentified aerial phenomena.

The upcoming hearing promises a new lineup of witnesses and may happen no later than September. Here’s a look at everything we know so far about the hearing.

The Next House UFO Hearing Could Include People from Grusch’s Witness List

According to a tweet by @AskaPol_UAPs, the new hearing is expected to feature an even more robust witness list. AskaPol asked Rep.

Tim Burchett if any of the witnesses for the n ext hearing might be taken from UFO whistleblower David Grusch’s list of cooperative and hostile witnesses.

Burchett replied, “That’ll be part of the next hearing, some of those folks. I’m afraid to give out too many names, because, as you know, what happened the last time we had like 12 people that were coming in. We ended up with three. We had some people that were scared.”

Potential names include former military personnel and scientists who have firsthand experience with UAPs. This expanded witness list could provide deeper insights and corroborate earlier testimonies about the phenomena.

Burchett said that retired Rear Adm. Tim Gallaudet is among the witnesses they want to speak to. “There’s a Navy admiral who’s been real vocal here lately,” he said. You can see our story about Gallaudet’s most recent revelation here.

Rep. Burchett also told AskaPol that he wasn’t sure when the next hearing would take place, but he’s working on it. “We just got to get a set date and start focusing on that,” he said. “I’m going to be working on that this week.”

An AARO Hearing with the Senate Should Take Place this Summer

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, a vocal advocate for UAP transparency, talked to AskaPol about a potential new hearing with AARO under the interim director, who’s taken over since Sean Kirkpatrick stepped down.

“I said I wanted to do it this summer and he said he’d love to do it,” she said. Interestingly, she added: “I told him I wanted him to do video of the things that he’s figured out.

Cause like they’ve figured out a bunch of things that looked really weird and now I want to know what they are because it gives the community something to fully understand, to see how strong the science is.”

She went on to say that some anomalous sightings have been figured out, but not all of them. The hearing would help “to present to the public… If you see these ten weird things, we figured out three of them.

We’re gonna show you these three. We still don’t know about seven, but here’s three and this is why we know.” The hearing will likely take place in July, but if not July, then September, she added.

Shocking UFO Videos Surface Out Of Iran, But Is The Footage Real?

June 14, 2024 11:53 AM EDT

Viral UFO footage out of Iran is taking the internet by storm, but does it pass the smell test?

It looks like we have a double-header of UFO content today. First, Donald Trump came out and said he's not a believer, but knows many smart people who are.

Now, we have some videos out of Iran that are pretty perplexing and weird. The X account @GreatWhyteShk shared four videos that appear to show a green disk flying through the air.

You can check out the videos in the tweet below, and hit me up at David.Hookstead@outkick.com with your reactions.

Is the UFO footage out of Iran real?

I have to blow my whistle here and throw a flag. I'm just not convinced at all this is real, and I definitely don't think it's aliens.

It's pretty convenient the UFO looks just like every flying saucer we've seen come out of Hollywood. Very convenient, indeed.

Could it be a bunch of synchronized drones? Sure, but there is no chance this is ET and his friends zipping around.

If aliens do exist, what are the odds their craft look exactly what they do in the movies? If it's too good to be true, then it probably is.

Having said all of that and remaining insanely skeptical, Iran is home of one of the most famous UFO incidents in human history.

On September 19, 1976, a pair of Iranian fighter jets went to intercept an object near Tehran and two fighter jets failed to work properly once they got close to whatever the object was.

One of the pilots attempted to fire an AIM-9 missile at the object, but when he attempted to engage "his weapons control panel went off and he lost all communications," according to official United States government documents on the incident.

Not only did the fighter jets fail to take the object down, the pilots claim to have watched it land and the crew later returned in a helicopter to try and find it.

Witnesses on the ground during the infamous incident recalled seeing bright lights and loud noises, according to the same government documents.

To this day, there's never been an explanation given for what the two F-4 crews witnessed on that night nearly 40 years ago.

So, while I don't believe the little green disk is much of anything - if even real to begin with - Iran is no stranger to very weird UFO content.
