Illegal immigrant charged in killing of Harford County mother Rachel Morin

BEL AIR (WBFF) — Law enforcement have arrested Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez in Tulsa for the killing of Rachel Morin, a Harford County mother of five who was found dead near a hiking trail in August of 2023.

In a press conference announcing the arrest on Saturday, Harford County Sheriff Jeffery Gahler said that Martinez-Hernandez was arrested late Friday night and booked on Saturday morning; he is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape.

"Five hours after meeting with [Morin's] family and just before midnight our time, police in Tulsa Oklahoma assisted by our federal partners located and arrested Rachel's murderer: Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez," Sheriff Gahler said.

Sheriff Gahler went on to say that Martinez-Hernandez is a "23-year-old citizen of El Salvador." He said that Martinez-Hernandez crossed the border into the United States in February of 2023, and that he believes that Morin was not his first victim.

"It is my understanding that this suspect, this monster, fled to the United States after the murder of a young woman in El Salvador a month earlier in January of 2023," Sheriff Gahler said. "Once in our country, he brutally attacked a nine year old girl and her mother in a home invasion in March of 2023 in Los Angeles."

The Los Angeles case was the through line which allowed investigators to connect DNA samples from the murder scene in Harford County to the surveillance video of the suspect in California. This gave local and federal investigators their first images of Martinez-Hernandez.

"After we had the video, we knew what he looked like, but we didn't know who he was," Sheriff Gahler said.

FBI Baltimore field office special agent in charge William DelBagno explained that they were able to trace his DNA to potential family members in El Salvador to help identify the suspect. Then with support from local law enforcement, they were able to track him down to Tulsa, Oklahoma and take him into custody.

"It is my hope and the hope of all involved, working this case that the arrest of this suspect brings her [Mornin's] family and our Harford County community some peace," Sheriff Gahler said.

State's Attorney for Harford County Alison Healey said she will personally lead the prosecution for the case and that "Harford County and our neighboring communities can rest assured that my office will take all steps necessary to ensure that justice is served for Rachel Morin and her family."

Healey went on to say that once the suspect has been extradited to Harford County that prosecution will commence.

Ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick Endorses Donald Trump

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who was released early from federal prison by then-President Donald Trump, has formally endorsed Trump, the Detroit News reports.

The Trump campaign announced the endorsement on Saturday before Trump's appearance at the 180 Church on Detroit's west side.

The endorsement comes as no real surprise since Kilpatrick has expressed deep gratitude to Trump, who commuted his sentence to time served in January 2021. Kilpatrick served nearly eight of. a 28 year sentence for public corruption.

In March, Kilpatrick, 53, attended a Trump rally in Saginaw County, which could have been perceived as a clear sign that he was considering a formal endorsement.

In an interview with Deadline Detroit in January 2022 on Livernois in Detroit, Kilpatrick expressed his appreciation for Trump for commuting his sentence:

"Who could ever not be thankful for him being in that position at that time and for him helping me."

Trump was also scheduled to speak this weekend at the Huntingon Place where other featured speakers include Reps. Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene and Trump confidant Steve Bannon.

MSM doxxes Juror No. 10 in Hunter Biden Trial

Following the three felony convictions of Hunter Biden on Tuesday, ABC seemingly exposed the identity of one of the jurors against his will. The contrast was obvious, ABC broadcasted his face across the country while CBS News and NBC News both noted that he didn’t want his identity revealed and took precautions to protect him.

ABC senior national correspondent Terry Moran seemingly ambushed Juror 10 in a parking garage somewhere and shoved the camera in his face, wanted to know why and how they convicted President Biden’s “only survived son”

“So, you didn't buy the notion that for those few days around the purchase of the gun, he wasn't abusing drugs?” Moran pressed Juror 10. “No, not at all,” the juror responded.

“But after sleeping on it, they decided there was enough evidence to prove that Hunter was abusing drugs in the critical timeframe, including from his own text messages; especially one sent the day after he bought the gun saying he was waiting for a dealer name Mookie,” Moran admitted.

Contrast Moran’s interaction with that of CBS’s Weijia Jiang, who apparently interviewed Juror 10 on a sidewalk. “We spoke to juror number 10. who asked not to be identified,” she said, the interview was conducted with the juror’s back to the camera.

Over on NBC, Capitol Hill Correspondent Ryan Nobles and more of a sit-down interview with Juror 10. “Juror number 10 telling NBC, Hunter's powerful family played no role in their decision-making process. He asked us to conceal his identity,” he said.

Nobles’ interview with him also had the camera pointed at the back of Juror 10’s head and took the added step of blurring his form.

It would be bizarre for Juror 10 to give ABC permission to show his face but deny it for the others. It seems as though ABC may not have disclosed that protecting his identity was an option.

Russian nuclear submarine spotted off UK coast sparks emergency defence meeting

EXCLUSIVE: The Prime Minister has been given a top-secret briefing after a Russian nuclear submarine was identified off the coast of Scotland.

It comes as President Vladimir Putin vowed to “punish” the West for giving Ukraine long-term missiles and a £40billion loan using frozen Russian assets.

Kazan, a state-of the art Yasen-class submarine, was detected on June 5 after an RAF Poseidon P8 anti-submarine aircraft dropped sonar buoys used to detect subsurface activity at depth.

An RAF maritime surveillance plane tracked the sub as it headed up the west coast of Ireland to Scotland, passing close to Britain’s nuclear naval base at Faslane. Military commanders feared the loitering 13,800-tonne vessel was probing for weaknesses on NATO’s extreme flank.

News of the Russian vessel’s location was passed to the Permanent Joint Headquarters in Northwood, with both the Prime Minister and Defence Secretary informed, the Express can exclusively reveal.

Kazan was expected to go to Venezuela before landing in Commonwealth nation Guyana where Royal Navy patrol ship HMS Trent was recently deployed as a show of support against increasing border belligerence by Russia-supporting Venezuela.

The Russian president has reacted with fury at the provision of American Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) rockets to Ukraine and a loan.

In a briefing last week, Julianne Smith, the US NATO Ambassador, said Washington DC may review its policy of not allowing the ATACMS to target mainland Russia, adding: “We will continue to assess and adapt to Ukraine’s ever-evolving needs.”

On Friday members of the G7 agreed to the ÂŁ40billion loan, to be financed by interest accruing from frozen Russian assets in the West.

Around £240billion in assets from Russia’s central bank was frozen as part of Western sanctions shortly after the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Sources say the deal was struck so Ukraine could be assured of enough funds in the event the US Congress once again held up aid under a Donald Trump presidency.

US President Joe Biden also signed a 10-year security pact with Ukraine leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

Justin Crump, from Sibylline strategic risk group, said: “It is important to note that it isn’t Russian funds, but rather the interest accrued from them, which will guarantee the £40billion loan to Ukraine.”

“The UK’s position is that all the money belongs to Russia and, as such, cannot be touched.

“However, it may prove useful leverage when it comes to peace talks,” he said.
