I lost my best furry friend a week ago and I'm still devastated. I've never grieved so much over a dog but I'm a friggin' wreck right now. I cherish every memory and every moment I spent with this dog.

He was a Great Pyrenees/golden retriever mix. Somewhere around 140 lbs and no vacuum cleaner known to man could keep up with his shedding. He was a gentle giant if there ever was one and his herding and protective instincts were as strong as I've ever seen.

This meme is so true. No matter how your day went, or what kind of mood you're in, your dog is always a faithful companion who doesn't judge you (EVER), and is ALWAYS glad to see you no matter what. They just want to spend time with you and could care less about the trappings of life that we consume ourselves with day in and day out. Dogs are a true blessing from God.
