Bible fag here reaching out to other Bible fags and those of intrigue regarding old texts:
I was researching Bar-Jesus, also known as Elymas, a false prophet and magician from Acts 13 and was led to The Golden Legend, a medieval work written in the 13th-century, which details many of the legends of post-Christ saints.
The book apparently mentions Muhammed, also spelled as Mahomet, the father of Islam. Further investigation led to the supposed Templar Knights worship of Muhammed, under the name of Baphomet.
While there is much debate, there are many who believe that the Baphomet of Templar lore is Muhammed.
I'm curious as to anons thoughts on this subject. I find it very intriguing indeed.
