The city of Seattle is now recruiting DACA recipients (illegal immigrants) to become police officers.
Leaders of the city defunded and demoralized the police, then when people finally came to their senses and no one could find a police officer when they needed one, the city began to try to recruit new police but found few takers.
This is their latest attempt to fix their self-imposed problem.

NYPD ‘super rookie’ awarded Medal of Honor for gunning down career criminal cop killer
The NYPD honored some of New York’s Finest at an awards ceremony Tuesday – including a Medal of Honor for the onetime “super rookie” who gunned down a career criminal who killed two other cops.
Sumit Sulan, who has since been promoted to detective, received a rousing standing ovation as NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban placed the medal around his neck for stopping cop killer Lashawn McNeil dead in his tracks during a domestic dispute call in Harlem on Jan. 21, 2022.
McNeil, 47, was shot just moments after killing hero cops Wilbert Mora and Jason Rivera.
“With Officers Mora and Rivera struck by gunfire, and the perpetrator continuing to advance to commit further violence, Officer Sulan discharged his firearm twice, striking and gravely wounding the perpetrator, preventing further incident,” Caban said at the ceremony at the NYPD Police Academy.

The New York Post obtained video footage and photos that show the thug, later identified by police as 25-year-old Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, cowering in fear on the sidewalk early Tuesday as an angry mob beats the tar out of him and calls him “a rapist.”
The Post also notes that Inga-Landi was tied up with a belt during the beating.
One woman can be heard in the video yelling in Spanish, “Where are you going? Where are you going?” while clutching Inga-Landi’s hair.
