Family of Halyna Hutchins Files New Lawsuit Against Alec Baldwin Over Fatal ‘Rust’ Set Incident

Family members of the deceased cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who died when a prop gun discharged on the set of the movie “Rust,” have filed another lawsuit against actor Alec Baldwin and other film crew members.

The lawsuit was filed by a lawyer on behalf of Mrs. Hutchins’ mother, Olga Solovey, father, Anatolii Androsovych, and her younger sister Svetlana Zemko, who live in Kyiv, Ukraine. “Rust” script supervisor Mamie Mitchel is also part of the lawsuit.

The lawsuit alleges negligence due to unsafe conditions on set and a failure to follow protocol leading to Mrs. Hutchins’ death, court documents obtained by E! News showed.

The lawsuit was filed in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on June 5.
