Before leaving the White House, Trump essentially authorized death by hanging and by firing squads.
President Trump changed a DOJ rule called “Manner of Federal Executions” which took effect 12/24/2020.
This amendment dramatically expanded the DOJ’s ability to carry out the death penalty by ensuring that they would be authorized to use the widest range of manners of execution permitted by law.
The amendment also reduced the amount of notice given to prisoners before their executions, and opened the door for states to limit appeals and execute people more quickly.
Guess what else?
Even though one of Biden’s campaign trail promises was to help end capital punishment, none of his executive actions have mentioned it.

The IRS found that Biden spent millions from the Biden Cancer Initiative founded in 2017 to pay Biden staffers.
The charity is now undergoing special scrutiny given the profile of some of the people who saw significant income increases since the establishment of the organization, including a Pfizer executive that saw his salary double.
The group's president, Gregory Simon, said the charity simply ran into problems as Biden had to focus on his presidential duties.
