"Everything Is Frozen": Third-Day Of Cyberattack Leaves 15,000 Auto Dealerships Crippled

Over 15,000 auto dealerships nationwide face major disruptions due to an ongoing cyberattack for the third day, shutting down their backend management systems. This has halted sales for some dealers and forced others to complete transactions the old-fashioned way: by hand.

CDK Global, the leading provider of dealership management systems and digital retailing solutions, said cybersecurity breaches began on Tuesday. By Wednesday afternoon, CDK's core systems were restored, only to be shuttered on Thursday after a second hack attack. This has made it nearly impossible for thousands of dealers to buy and sell vehicles this week.

"We cannot process paperwork. Everything is frozen, everything is tied up — we cannot move money back and forth to pay off cars, to finance our customers' transactions," Tom Maioli, who owns Celebrity Motor Car Company with dealerships across York and New Jersey, told CBS MoneyWatch. He said his business is "completely shut down."

Maioli continued, "We cannot process paperwork. Everything is frozen, everything is tied up — we cannot move money back and forth to pay off cars, to finance our customers' transactions."

Consumers are being greeted with signs like this at auto dealers nationwide…

British PM threatens teens with sanctions for refusing national service

Rishi Sunak says young people may lose access to finance or drivers’ licenses if the scheme is reintroduced

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has followed up on his controversial election promise to introduce mandatory national service for UK teenagers with a warning that objectors could face significant restrictions.

The scheme, which would see youngsters volunteer with community groups or join the armed forces, was announced by Sunak last month. He argued that the measure would help revive the “national spirit” and provide “life-changing opportunities for our young people.” National service in the UK, previously introduced during WWI and WWII, was ended in 1960.

Speaking to the BBC on Friday, Sunak was asked about the possible consequences for people who decline to take part in the compulsory activity, which would extend to all 18-year-olds, male and female.

The prime minister suggested that possible sanctions for those avoiding service could include restrictions on access to financial services and driving licenses.

Under the scheme, British youths will be required either to join the military full-time for one year or volunteer one weekend per month at community organizations such as the police or the National Health Service (NHS).

Sunak has insisted that the program would provide young people with “life-changing opportunities” and “real world skills” and would help create a “shared sense of purpose among our young people and a renewed sense of pride in our country.” A pilot version of the program is planned to be launched in September of next year if the Conservatives remain in power, and is expected to cost British taxpayers around £2.5 billion ($3.19 billion) a year.

According to the Daily Mail, the plan to reintroduce national service was drawn up by Sunak and his team in secret. The authors behind the 40-page document have argued that it is necessary to expand the UK’s armed forces in the face of “growing international threats posed by countries such as Russia and China.”

Sunak’s scheme has been heavily criticized by opposition parties.

“This is not a plan – it’s a review which could cost billions and is only needed because the Tories hollowed out the armed forces to their smallest size since Napoleon,” a Labour spokesman stated last month. Other members of the opposition party have accused Sunak of trying to get 18-year-olds to fix the problems that the government has created.

Ukrainian Drone Swarms Target Four Russian Refineries In Major Attack

Brent crude futures were flat on Friday amid rising geopolitical tensions in Eastern Europe, which seems counterintuitive as escalating war risks could result in supply disruptions.

In the overnight hours, four refineries in southern Russia were targeted, with one facility damaged, in one of the largest drone swarm attacks since the war in Ukraine began, Bloomberg reports.

Seventy drones were intercepted and destroyed over Crimea and the Black Sea and 43 over the Krasnodar region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Telegram, without saying how many drones took part in the attack. The Afipsky, Ilsky, Krasnodar and Astrakhan refineries were attacked, Ukraine's General Staff said later in a Facebook post.

In the Seversky district of the Krasnodar region, where the Afipsky and Ilsky refineries are located, "administrative buildings were damaged on the territory of an oil refinery" as a result of the attack, local governor Veniamin Kondratyev said on Telegram. Interfax earlier reported that a fire affecting area of 50 square meters (538 square feet) was extinguished by morning, with two people injured. -BBG

Ukraine's military claimed responsibility for the drone swarm attack, saying it launched drones against "the Afipskiy, Ilskiy, Krasnodar and Astrakhan oil refineries." They also said an intelligence center in southern Russia was targeted.

Drones also targeted a "preparation and storage area" in the Krasnodar region, resulting in a "series of explosions and a fire with subsequent detonation," Ukraine said.

More than two years since the war began, Ukraine is ramping up cross-border drone attacks on Russian energy infrastructure as conflict spillover risks soar. Kyiv and its Western backers aim to paralyze one of Russia's most important industries: oil refining.

In recent days, Ukrainian drone attacks have damaged several oil storage facilities. Last month, two other refineries in southern Russia, including Rosneft's large Tuapse facility on the Black Sea, were targeted.

In March, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna said oil refineries in Russia are "absolutely legitimate targets" from a military point of view.

Recall that the Biden administration has freaked out about Ukrainian drone strikes in Russia. This was primarily because of the risk of driving Brent crude prices north of $100/bbl. However, in recent weeks, Biden 'greenlighted' Ukraine to attack deep within Russia with US weapons.

In markets, Brent crude prices headed for the first back-to-back weekly gain since early April. Prices are ending the week around the $85/bbl handle. Escalating conflicts in Eastern Europe and the Middle East reflect a higher war risk premium that should be added to Brent crude prices.

Biden Seeks to Delay COVID Vaccine Safety Data Release Until 2026.

The Biden government is seeking an 18-month delay in releasing COVID-19 vaccine safety data, pushing potential disclosure until at least 2026. This regime claims an influx of pandemic-related information requests is overwhelming the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and that releasing vaccine records requires extensive staff training and onboarding, which could take up to two years.

“This is a typical government excuse which is,’ Oh, we’re so busy, we don’t have the resources to help provide you, the American people with the information that you need,’” says America First Legal lawyer, Gene Hamilton, representing Just the News, which is requesting vaccine safety records under freedom of information laws.

Hamilton characterizes the regime’s position on the vaccination records as, “you just need to wait until 18 months from now. And maybe you’ll get to see it, maybe you won’t. And what they’re hoping to do is stretch this out to the point where everybody forgets about it.”

America First Legal and Just the News are suing the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for data on Covid vaccine reactions “kept in a back-end, nonpublic system.” This is separate from the public Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

“The public-facing database contains only initial reports, while the private, back-end system contains all updates and corrections – such as a formal diagnosis, recovery, or death,” the lawsuit notes, citing examples of vaccine-induced deaths not recorded in VAERS.

“They’re going to continue to cover up the real damage being done by… what I would consider now very dangerous, very suspect mRNA vaccines,” commented Senator Ron Johnson.

Biden DHS Board Painted Trump Supporters, Military And Religious People As Terror Threats, Docs Show

A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) advisory board characterized supporters of former President Donald Trump, as well as those who are in the military and religious people, as posing potential domestic terrorism risks, according to internal documents obtained by America First Legal (AFL).

The board, called the “Homeland Intelligence Experts Group,” was created in September 2023 to provide DHS with “expert” analysis on subjects such as terrorism and fentanyl trafficking. The panel included former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan and former CIA Operations Officer Paul Kolbe, all of whom signed an October 2020 letter casting doubt on the legitimacy of the Hunter Biden laptop and suggesting its release was a Russian disinformation ploy.

Internal documents obtained by AFL show the board characterizing “supporters of the former president” as constituting “most of the Domestic Terrorism threat” in the United States. The documents also classified traits such as having served “in the military” and being “religious” as “indicators of extremists and terrorism,” citing unnamed research.

Military personnel are less likely to be supporters of radical political causes than other Americans, according to a 2023 RAND Corporation study. Nevertheless, suspicions of extremism in the military were popular among Democrats in the wake of the Jan. 6 riots, as 15 Democrat lawmakers signed a letter in 2021 urging Inspector General Sean O’Donnell to “take action on this wave of violent extremism” in the military.

AFL on Thursday released the first collection of documents that detailed the committee’s desire to increase information collection on Americans, including getting “mothers” and “teachers” to report on children suspected of extremism under the pretext of “public health.” The committee cited the model of the “See Something, Say Something” campaign after 9/11, which was an initiative by the DHS to encourage American citizens to report potential terror threats.

The DHS panel was shut down following a lawsuit from AFL in conjunction with former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell. The lawsuit alleged the group violated the Federal Advisory Committee Act, which governs how federal advisory committees can legally operate.

“These inflammatory records reveal the interworkings of the illegal partisan committee that we proudly stopped,” AFL Executive Director Gene Hamilton told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “All Americans should be alarmed about the contents of these records. All efforts to weaponize the federal government against political opponents of the ruling regime should be stopped.”

Brennan and Clapper were also signatories of the 2020 letter that alleged the Hunter Biden laptop contents may have been part of a Russian disinformation campaign. The contents of the laptop were verified by the Daily Caller News Foundation along with other media outlets.

The DHS did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

Jewish get-out-the-vote effort seeks to unseat Israel critic Jamaal Bowman in NY primary

The June 25 vote reflects a contest between moderate Democrats who support Israel and progressives like the congressman who has cast doubt on reports of Hamas’s sexual violence

New York Jewish Week — In the years before October 7, Steven Epstein wasn’t the type to go door to door in New York City’s northern suburbs to get out the vote.

But that changed when thousands of Hamas-led terrorists invaded Israel, butchering 1,200 people, most of them civilians, and kidnapping 251 to the Gaza Strip. The massacre hit home for the 77-year-old American retiree, who has Israeli grandchildren. In particular, he is unhappy with his congressman, Jamaal Bowman, who has called for a ceasefire in Israel’s war against the Palestinian terror group and who has accused the country of “genocide.”

And on Wednesday afternoon, as Epstein approached a woman in her driveway on a leafy suburban street, a stack of fliers in hand, he delivered a blunt message:

“We’re here because antisemitism is on the ballot and voting has started,” Epstein said. “We don’t care who you vote for for president, we care about this election. We care that the Jewish vote is heard.”

Epstein is one of hundreds of volunteers who are making a final push in the days before the June 25 congressional primary, which pits Bowman against centrist Democrat George Latimer. Their 16th district covers Westchester County as well as a sliver of the Bronx and has a large Jewish population.

Armenia recognizes Palestinian statehood; Israel summons ambassador for reprimand

Move follows similar ones by Slovenia, Spain, Ireland and Norway, with 145 UN member states now recognizing ‘State of Palestine’; statement affirms support for two-state solution

Armenia declared Friday that it was recognizing Palestinian statehood, prompting Israel to summon the country’s ambassador for a dressing down.

The Armenian foreign ministry said in a statement that Yerevan supports a two-state solution to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians and is “genuinely committed to establishing peace and stability in the Middle East and lasting reconciliation.”

Israel’s Foreign Ministry said that in response to the recognition, the ministry had summoned the Armenian ambassador, Arman Akopian, to be reprimanded.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority welcomed the move. “This recognition contributes positively to preserving the two-state solution, which faces systematic challenges, and promotes security, peace and stability for all parties involved,” the Ramallah-based PA presidency said in a statement.

Together with Slovenia, Spain, Ireland and Norway, who also officially recognized a Palestinian state over the past month, the move brings to 145 the number of UN member states that have done so.

Top Cardiologist Drops Bombshell: Covid Shots Caused 112,000% Spike in Brain Clots

One of the world’s most revered cardiologists has just raised the alarm after uncovering bombshell data showing that Covid mRNA shots have caused a staggering 112,000% increase in brain clots.

A newly-published study by a team of experts, led by American cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, analyzed all reports of cerebral thromboembolism over the past 34 years.

According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, cerebral thromboembolism occurs when a blood clot forms in the brain’s venous sinuses.

This prevents blood from draining out of the brain.

This chain of events is part of a stroke that can damage the brain and central nervous system and cause sudden death.

It is a known side effect of Covid mRNA shots.

The study by Doctors McCullough, Kirstin Cosgrove, James Thorp, and Claire Rogers examined data on reports of cerebral thromboembolism following Covid shots submitted to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

They analyzed all reports from January 1990 through December 2023.

The study found 5,137 cases reported in the three years the Covid mRNA injections have been available.

However, in the entire 34 years of data, there have only been 52 reports of cerebral thromboembolism associated with influenza vaccines.

According to this data, there is an 1120 times increase in cerebral thromboembolism for Covid injections compared to flu shots per time.

This makes for a whopping 111,795% increase.

For all other vaccines, aside from flu shots, there were 282 reports of cerebral thromboembolism linked to vaccines over the past 34 years.

Ex-FBI Undercover Asset Risks All to Prove Jan. 6 Was a ‘Fedsurrection’

For the last three and a half years, the FBI and federal prosecutors, in tandem with federal judges, have refused to disclose information regarding the extent to which the U.S. government deployed undercover informants in the crowd at the “Save America” rally in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021. . .

Ex-FBI confidential human source Derek Myers risks years of jail time for saying too much about his former employer. Yet despite the potential legal ramifications, Myers insists the FBI ran an operation involving hundreds of undercover informants on Jan. 6 to entrap and incriminate Trump supporters.

He would know. He was recruited for the assignment. . .

The public should know, Myers told WND in an exclusive interview, that confidential human sources were laced all throughout the Jan. 6 crowd and that they are considered above the law while on the job.

“I’m going to try and word this in a way without compromising the FBI’s contractual obligations. When we, as human assets, are signed into the program for the FBI, we typically must sign paperwork that says what we can and cannot do. Specifically, when it comes to being part of these rallies, or any sort of lawbreaking, we get a temporary designation by the District Attorney’s Office in the Department of Justice,” he said. “These designations are called ‘tier one,’ ‘tier two’ or ‘tier three,’ and it is essentially a ‘get out of jail free’ pass for a certain amount of time. European newspaper says citizens better get used to not having electricity all the time

One of the biggest newspapers in the Netherlands is warning its readers that Dutch citizens should get accustomed to the notion that electricity will not always be available to them in the future.

NRC, one of the largest papers in the country, published a lengthy piece on June 14 warning that the Netherlands’ green transition is driving up electricity demand more quickly than needed supporting infrastructure can be built, a situation that will likely lead to grid reliability issues if the status quo is maintained over the coming years. The authors describe how a transition away from affordable, reliable and conventional energy resources and toward green energy generation — like solar and wind — is teaming up with growing demand attributable to the country’s push to electrify industry and other parts of everyday life could overwhelm the country’s power system.

“The message is clear: the Netherlands will have to get rid of the idea that electricity is available at all times and for everyone,” a translated version of the NRC piece states. “And drastic measures will have to be taken to prevent the worst problems. But which ones and how successful they will be, grid operators and the government are largely in the dark.”

Mayor-elect pulled off bus and assassinated near resort city of Acapulco

The mayor-elect of a small municipality near the crime-plagued Mexican resort city of Acapulco was assassinated early Monday, local prosecutors said — the latest in a series of attacks targeting politicians.

Salvador Villalba Flores — who was to take office in October in Copala, a town of about 4,000 residents about 80 miles southeast of Acapulco — was shot dead while traveling on a highway, prosecutors in Guerrero state said in a statement.

Prosecutors said that they had launched an investigation into the murder, but declined to provide further details.

Local newspaper El Sur de Guerrero reported that Villalba was a retired Navy captain who was usually protected by National Guard escorts, but was traveling alone to Mexico City when he was killed.

"The mayor-elect was taken off the bus he was traveling on when it stopped near San Pedro las Playas" and shot, the outlet reported.

Local media also reported Villalba had decided to run for mayor after his friend, a candidate, was murdered in June 2023.

In Mexico's general election on June 2, leftist Claudia Sheinbaum was elected by an overwhelming majority as the first woman president of the country.

As well as choosing a new president, Mexicans voted for members of Congress, several state governors and myriad local officials – a total of more than 20,000 positions.

Since Mexico's campaign season began last September, more than two dozen political candidates have been killed, according to Data Civica, a non-governmental organization.

Earlier this month, a local councilwoman was gunned down as she was leaving her home in Guerrero. Her murder came a few days after the mayor of a town in western Mexico and her bodyguard were killed outside of a gym, just hours after Sheinbaum won the presidency.

Acapulco was once a playground for the rich and famous, but it has lost its luster in the last decade as foreign tourists have been spooked by bloodshed that has made it one of the world's most violent cities.

Last month, five people were killed in an armed attack in Acapulco, just three days after 10 other bodies were found in the resort city.

Guerrero, one of the states most affected by drug cartel violence given its location along Mexico's Pacific coast, recorded 1,890 murders in 2023.

More than 450,000 people have been murdered and thousands have gone missing since the Mexican government deployed the army to combat drug trafficking in 2006.
