Treaties, Constitutions & Laws: FBI Still Wants to Keep Native Leader Leonard Peltier in Prison
This is not just another ongoing issue with Native people. Leonard Peltier survived the American school system indoctrination and treatment only to stand to this day against all the injustice he is forced to indure since the 70s.
In my town, though illegal, one locally 'famous' man (who did visit Lincoln to change his mind regarding outlawing slavery and with the largest numberr of slaves in the county) violated the treaty and the laws by purchasing a large tract of native indian lands. The old locals still try to glorify this family.
The slave owner's son, a lawyer, reveal that this son also did NOT enforce the Constitutions (fed & state) regarding use of only sworn deputies to make an arrest and instead illegally appointed persons, we are told, had a shoot out with the black father after his son when taken by a white man saying he indentured the black son for an act by the father without a trial.
My fast preview of the court documents prove to me that the FBI is covering up again.
