"In its statement to ABC News, the CIA said, "Federal law prohibits the Agency from engaging in domestic propaganda efforts and CIA takes this very seriously."
If you look closely at the statement and parse it; you will see they fail to claim they tell the truth.
The statement is:
1 Law prohibits us.

sure they do because they are terrified of getting caught for all their crimes and then rightfully shut down

Notice how recently they are n't saying (on TV) "There are no crimes at the top"
Instead they say
"Oh the poor civil servants, they did no wrong - why should they be punished"
(by cleaning their Agencies)
