Julian Assange plans to plead guilty to conspiracy charges in a deal allowing his freedom after five years in a UK prison.
Assange will appear in U.S. court in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, at 9 a.m. on Wednesday (7 p.m. ET Tuesday).
Saipan is a U.S. territory in the Pacific Ocean, near Guam.
He will be sentenced immediately to time served and should be free by tomorrow night to fly to Australia.
Assange's WikiLeaks published one of the largest leaks of classified U.S. documents in history.
He stated: "I look forward to reuniting with my family and rebuilding my life."
