Animal welfare workers in Pennsylvania have revealed how they rescued animals being used for bestiality from a dilapidated school bus towing a trailer.
>Police contacted SPCA officials after discovering the disabled school bus, which contained 30 birds, including chickens, roosters, ducks, and turkeys.
>Three German Shepherds and an Australian Shepherd were also removed from the vehicle.
>A bull and a pony were found in the trailer hitched to the back of the bus - both of which officials said were 'being used for bestiality purposes.'
>They added the chickens were used to feed the dogs.
The local SPCA stated on Facebook, 'This is a difficult situation we don't encounter frequently, and it's something we hope to never see again.'
The post added: 'Iโm not going to go into a lot of detail because as I said, itโs been a really hard day.
'This is not something we see everyday and itโs not something we ever want to see again.
'The Adams County SPCA will be closed to the public until further notice. We need a few days to take care of the animals and get them the help they deserve!'
Sean Hershbein was taken into custody after police reviewed outstanding warrants in another state. And an unidentified female was left with the vehicle.
>Due to Hershbein's past offenses, all the animals will undergo testing for human DNA. Testing is projected to cost around $10,000, which the state has agreed to pay for.
Fortunately, the SPCA said all the animals are in good physical condition 'considering what they've been through.'
However, the Adams County SPCA will be closed to the public until further notice as they prioritize caring for the rescued animals.
Donations to support the rescue's efforts can be made on their website.

Couple forced their adopted black children to work as slaves
A couple who have been accused of locking up their adopted black children and forcing them to work as slaves have been sent behind bars once again.
Donald Ray Lantz, 63, and Jeanne Kay Whitefeather, 62 of Charleston, West Virginia, plead not guilty on Tuesday to over a dozen new charges after their kids were found locked in a dilapidated shed after laboring on the surrounding farmland.
The new charges included human trafficking of a minor child, use of a minor child in forced labor, and child neglect creating substantial risk of serious bodily injury or death.
Their bond has been set to $500,000 each - which is $300,000 more than each of their original bonds.
The couple's first arrest took place in October after it was discovered that the couple's five adopted children, all of whom were black, were forced to live in a locked barn in the backyard under squalor conditions.
