the S Ct could use a combination of things like strict constructionism, original intent, original understanding in order to say things like "the only US religion is Christian" And, "back then, some states had official state religions, I don't see any reason why they can't have them again. There was nothing in the actual constitution that limited religion, and it was Jews in the 1940s on the S Ct then just made all that up. We're getting rid of Everson."

and also, "an establishment of religion" has to be a thing, if Congress is prohibited from getting in the way of that thing. Strict constructionism can be used for that.

Most of the S Ct decisions have been just made up garbage bullshit the last 100 years.

Maybe they'll go in a good direction.

So, all these religions other than Christian, we don't recognize as religions that protections apply to. The free exercise clause and the establishment clause were put in place at a particular moment when there weren't bad religions that people didn't like.

Debate in the last 1700s might include "sure, why not, what's the difference between Lutheran and Baptist, anyway, we're all on the same team. These clauses don't lock us in to respecting some weird Satanist baby-eating religion, Jews, or some quasi-religious / anti religious tranny club.

The Framers would have thought all you leftists were insane. The Constitution says lock you up.

Better than emanations and penumbra.

Anyway, this country is shit now, and taking almost everything that's been done and reversing it would be better. Since 1913, things have been pretty much awful.
