The Maldives’ head of environment, energy and climate change has been accused of ‘black magic’

The state secretary for environment, climate change and energy of the Maldives has been jailed, reportedly on suspicion of casting spells against the country’s president.

The Maldives are an archipelago located southwest of India, known for their sandy beaches and luxury resorts which are popular with tourists worldwide. Most of the local residents are Muslim.

Fathimath Shamnaz Ali Saleem was arrested on Sunday, along with two suspected accomplices, police in the capital, Male, said on Thursday. A magistrate has ordered her to stay in jail for a week, pending investigation.

Police did not say what Shamnaz was charged with, and declined to confirm or deny media reports that it involved “black magic” directed at President Mohamed Muizzu.

Sorcery is not a criminal offense under Maldivian law, but those found guilty of it can be locked up for six months under Islamic law (Sharia). According to the South China Morning Post, many local residents still practice “traditional ceremonies,” seeking to bless friends and curse opponents.

Last year, a 62-year-old woman was stabbed to death by three neighbors on the island of Manadhoo, after she was accused of practicing “black magic.” The news was only reported by the portal Mihaaru last week, after a lengthy police investigation which found no evidence that the victim had performed sorcery.

During the 2011-12 political crisis, police shut down a rally by the supporters of ousted President Mohamed Nasheed, accusing its organizers of having thrown a “cursed rooster” at officers who had raided their offices.

Muizzu won the 2023 election as the challenger to the incumbent, Ibrahim Solih. The Maldives’ relations with India have since deteriorated, as Muizzu has been accused of favoring China.

Instagram ‘Accidentally’ Changed All Users’ Settings to Limit Political Content Ahead of Thursday’s Debate

Instagram has announced that it “accidentally” changed users’ default settings to limit political content ahead of Thursday’s presidential debate.

The change applies to all users, even if you have previously turned the settings off.

CNN will be hosting the first presidential debate this Thursday, June 27, in Atlanta, Georgia. Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will moderate.

Several Instagram users spoke out after noticing their settings had been changed to limit political content, an option created by parent company Meta in February, ahead of Thursday’s first 2024 debate between President Biden and former President Trump.

In a response to a post from Democratic strategist Keith Edwards on Threads, another Meta app, Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said the resetting of users’ limits on political content was “an error and should not have happened,” and the company is working to get it fixed.

On February 9, Meta announced that Instagram and Threads would soon begin limiting political content. The announcement did not say it would change all users’ settings to a limited politics default.

In March, Instagram changed algorithm settings to limit political content by default. This only applied to content from users that you do not follow on the platform.

If you still wish to see political content, you must go into your settings and manually change the setting by clicking on “content preferences” and then “political content” and selecting “don’t limit.”

The second debate will be hosted by ABC News in September. The network has not yet announced moderators for that debate.

X Drops ID Verification Firm Tied to Israeli Spies.

Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) is dropping AU10TIX, the Israeli firm it uses to confirm verified users’ identities through document scans and selfies, in favor of Stripe. Reports allege that AU10TIX chairman and founder Ron Atzmon is or was a spy for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).X recently required all verified users, who receive a blue checkmark and can become eligible for a share of advertising revenue, to submit photographic identification to AU10TIX. Large-scale prisons being secretly erected in all 50 states – will they be used to house illegals or force Americans into concentration camps?

Former 24-year Customs and Border Patrol (CPB) veteran J.J. Carrell got the chance to interview Christie Hutcherson of Women Fighting for America about a sinister plot by the globalists to build large-scale prison structures and compounds in all 50 states, purportedly to house illegal aliens but probably actually to imprison Americans in concentration camps.

Hutcherson has an extensive background in federal contracting having worked at forward operating bases (FOBs) in military war zones. Her company built soft-sided structures, water facilities and other necessities for soldiers as part of a multi-billion dollar operating agreement with Washington, D.C.

Because she has access to the federal database of contract bids for all of the government projects going on at any given time, Hutcherson can see specifically and exactly what is going on behind the scenes at any given time.

"There are bids for detention facilities being built in all 50 states in America," Hutcherson explained to Carrell in the interview, which was also covered by Redacted – watch below:

"I go in the database, J.J, and there are detention facility bids to build individual detention facilities in every state in the union. Who do you think they're built for? Are they built for all the illegal aliens or unaccompanied alien children? Of course not."

Concentration camps in America

Carrell, who considers himself something of an expert on these types of things, says he was shocked at what Hutcherson had to say. He says he fell for the idea that these detention facilities are for illegals and migrants, not Americans.

"Most of these ICE facilities are completely empty," Carrell explains. "I've talked to my buddies in Texas and in San Diego, I've talked to my ICE supervisors, and they tell me that they're empty."

"So you're talking anywhere from 30,000 to 40,000 beds across America, mainly on the southern border, are empty. Why are they empty? Because we have massive catch and release."

Back in the old days when Carrell was more directly involved in border work, he says they did not just catch and release illegal aliens. They would transport the illegals they caught to ICE facilities for processing and eventual deportation.

"They went and they waited there a week, two weeks, a month, whatever it was, to go in front of the judge, fined or deported, deported or found to be guilty of reentering as a felon, then they spent time in federal prison, then they would be deported – so we had all this bed space," Carrell explains.

"I get someone that's a reported felon now, I'm releasing them on the street. So you go from arresting people three years ago, setting them up for deportation and prosecution, goes to a camp space in an ICE facility, then the courts and deportation – not now. Everyone gets arrested by the Border Patrol, they quickly "vet" them, then release them."

Even more disturbing is the fact that there are closer to 30 million, if not more, illegals who have flooded the U.S. just in the past couple years. This is enough to replace the populations of about 36 states, Hutcherson further says.

"Why would they need to continue to [house them in camps] that if they're trying to absorb, assimilate, etc.? I believe it's to do like what the Nazis did to the Jews – concentration camps, processing facilities. They're going to need some place to process the dissidents."

French official admits censorship is needed for government to control public opinion

In a recent interview with Defense News, French Army General Pierre Schill revealed that censorship is needed in the age of the Russia-Ukraine conflict to keep the powers that be safely nestled away from public scrutiny.

The ongoing conflict in eastern Europe has "changed the dynamics of combat" such that more extensive use of drones and military adaptation of civilian technologies is absolutely vital "to influence both national and international public opinion," Schill said.

"The army plays a crucial role in the information domain," Schill added. "Without the capacity to convince and to counter adverse influence, any military engagement can fail. The emergence of social networks has reinforced this notion and has significantly accelerated the dissemination of information, whether true or false, while increasing its volume, reach and resonance."

Schill's commentary about the merits of silencing free speech came ahead of Eurosatory 2024, a major defense and security conference in Paris.

Relentless media propaganda failing to convince public to support Ukraine

The globalists apparently thought they had the Russia-Ukraine conflict in the bag. Former U.S. diplomats Michael Gfoeller and David Rundell wrote an op-ed for Newsweek last year that highlighted how the "propaganda machine" has massively "overplayed its hand" in the handling of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Schill is one of the shills, as his name implies, pushing for endless welfare to support the war machine in Ukraine. He believes that all of the most advanced technologies are necessary to ensure a Zelensky win – this includes long-range drone surveillance, electronic warfare and weapons with heavy lethality.

Schill also believes that Western militaries need to do a better job of protecting high-value targets like command posts, especially in an era of technological advancements that make them easier to detect.

Just four days after the Russia-Ukraine conflict began in February 2022, France deployed more than 500 troops to NATO's eastern flank in Romania. This location serves as the bloc's "spearhead" battalion, and it now houses more than 1,000 soldiers as well as an air defense detachment and a forward command element.

"These successive deployments show the reactivity and preparedness of our troops," Schill said. "The difficulties in the administrative, customs, interoperability and training domains have been overcome. We're drawing the lessons with our European partners."

Eurosatory, by the way, is Europe's largest defense show. This year's presentation is said to take "the full measure" of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

"Only demons and dirtbags look to control public opinion," wrote a commenter at RT about Schill's worldview. "Good-natured people or forces simply tell the truth or present facts. They don't care whether you like it or not for they know they are fighting for a just cause."

Another noted that all this talk about protecting "democracy" in Ukraine is a crock since its true purpose is really about "capitalism and helping the rich get even richer."

House Votes To Bar State Department From Citing Gazan Health Ministry

If passed into law, US diplomats would be unable to discuss casualty figures from Palestinian sources that are generally considered credible.

During the debate of the State Department funding bill, the House added a provision that will bar American diplomats from citing statistics from the Gaza Health Ministry. The amendment will prevent American diplomats from discussing the casualty figures produced by the Palestinian agency.

On Thursday, the House voted 269-144 for an amendment to the Department of State appropriations bill proposed by a bipartisan group led by Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL). The provision “prohibits funds appropriated by this act to be made available for the State Department to cite statistics obtained from the Gaza Health Ministry.”

The amendment received bipartisan support. All but 14 Republicans voted yes, with Reps. Paul Gosar (AZ) and Matt Rosendale (MT) are the only no votes. The Democrats split support 69-114. The Democratic leadership in the House elected not to endorse or oppose the amendment.

During Israel’s nearly nine-month-long onslaught in Gaza, the Health Ministry has recorded nearly 38,000 deaths and 85,000 injuries. Many of those injured have life-altering wounds. The head of the UN Palestinian Aid Agency (UNRWA) estimates that over 2,000 children, or nearly ten per day, have lost legs since October 7.

Prior to Israel’s most recent military campaign in Gaza, the casualty figures were generally considered accurate and regularly cited by Western media. During Israel’s “Swords of Iron” operations, the corporate press has started to slant cover of those numbers by asserting Hamas runs the health ministry whenever the numbers are reported.

However, many human rights groups and officials believe the official figures are an undercount. Save the Children estimates that in addition to the 15,000 dead Palestinian children counted by the health ministry, an additional 4,000 are uncounted because their bodies have not been recovered.

During the debate over Moskowitz’s amendment, Rep Rashida Tlaib blasted the provisions as being a part of the decades-long coordinated effort by the House to “erase Palestinians from existence.”

“Today, we are witnessing the apartheid Israeli government carry out a genocide in real-time. This amendment is an attempt to hide it.” She added, “My colleagues don’t even want to acknowledge that Palestinians exist at all.”

UK challenges ICC jurisdiction over Israel, delaying arrest warrant decision

The UK filed an amicus brief arguing that the ICC’s 2021 decision asserting jurisdiction over Israeli actions in Palestinian territories requires a final decision on jurisdiction

The International Court of Justice has allowed the United Kingdom to file an amicus brief challenging the court’s jurisdiction over Israeli nationals in the investigation by the Hague tribunal into alleged Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The court’s Pre Trial Chamber I decided on Thursday to give the UK until July 12 to submit its brief, meaning that the decision-making process on whether or not to issue arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant will be suspended until a decision can be made on the UK’s challenge.

According to court documents published on Thursday, the UK made its request on June 10, where it cited a decision by the same chamber from 2021 when it ruled that, despite the State of Palestine not being a sovereign state the ICC did have jurisdiction over any alleged violations of the Rome Statute, the ICC’s foundational charter, in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza.

The UK’s brief noted that the court at the time ruled that it would need to make a final decision on Israel’s claim that the Palestinian Authority’s request to join the ICC violates the Oslo Accords if and when an ICC prosecutor requests arrest warrants against Israeli nationals.

The UK’s argument is that the Palestinian authorities cannot have jurisdiction over Israeli nationals under the terms of the Oslo Accords, and so it cannot transfer that jurisdiction over to the ICC to prosecute Israelis.

Contractors With CIA Signed Hunter Biden Laptop Letter, House GOP Report Discloses

Some of the intelligence veterans who signed the infamous letter used to discredit the Hunter Biden laptop story weeks before the 2020 presidential election were on the CIA‘s payroll at the time, according to a new report from Republican-led House committees.

Congressional investigators found that two of the 51 signatories — former Deputy CIA Director Michael Morell and former CIA Inspector General David Buckley — were actively working for the CIA as contractors when the statement was published.

The Weaponization of the Federal Government panel said the “revelation raises concerns that these officials may have abused their positions to expedite the statement’s approval and may have been earning taxpayer dollars while they did it.”

Hunter Biden’s father, Joe Biden, was in the midst of running against then-President Donald Trump when the New York Post began reporting on details of the younger Biden’s shady business dealings and personal life contained in the copy of a hard drive.

The letter suggested the timing of the laptop story’s emergence had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” POLITICO, which obtained the letter, published a headline in 2020 saying the intel veterans were claiming the laptop story was “Russian disinfo.”

Many of the contents of the laptop and hard drive have been analyzed and shown to be authentic over the past few years, but during a debate in the final stretch of the 2020 election cycle, Joe Biden was able to cite the letter to cast doubt on the Post’s reporting.

A new report from the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, along with the Weaponization panel, said emails showed that at least some of the letter’s signatories were on “active contract” with the CIA during its drafting, review, and publication. A CIA employee’s internal email in response to the letter said, “This frustrates me. I don’t think it is helpful to the Agency in the long run.” Another said, “I also love that at least a few of the random signatories belong to individuals currently working.”

The report said the investigating committees requested the identities of all the CIA contractors on the letter, but the agency has not “declassified the complete list of individuals … due to purported operational security” beyond disclosing Morell and Buckley.

A chart shows that three—including ex-CIA Director John Brennan, former CIA official Marc Polymeropoulos, and former National Counterterrorism Center Director Nick Rasmussen—were not contracted with the CIA on October 19, the date of the letter.

Congressional Republicans previously revealed that Morell said “yes”when asked if a call around mid-October 2020 from Antony Blinken, an adviser to Joe Biden’s campaign who now serves as secretary of state, triggered a series of events that led to the letter.

Blinken denied soliciting the letter, but emails show Morell asked fellow intelligence veterans to add their names to it with a stated purpose of giving Biden’s campaign a debate “talking point.” Another top Biden campaign official later thanked him.

The new report noted Morell acknowledged it is “inappropriate for a currently serving staff officer or contractor to be involved in the political process,” though Hatch Act political restrictions do not apply to them in the same way they do to CIA employees.

“Such an overtly political action would be illegal under the Hatch Act for a permanent CIA employee. Congress ought to consider whether to extend this important prohibition to CIA contractors as well,” the report from the GOP-led House panels added.

Also mentioned in the report is how the CIA’s Prepublication Classification Review Board (PCRB) received a draft of the letter because former senior intelligence officials had signed it, and a top officer said he informed the top brass that it would be published soon.

It was noon on Dec. 3, 2020, and Richard Barron had a problem.

The 2020 Presidential Election results, already declared by the deep state to be the “most secure in American history,” had just undergone a machine recount in Georgia. Fulton County was meeting to certify the results in less than 24 hours, and the then-Elections Director was more than 17,000 votes short.

Joe Biden, a despised corrupt career politician who had been running for president (and failing spectacularly) since 1987, allegedly received the most votes for president in U.S. history, yet simultaneously could only sneak by in Georgia by some 13,558 votes. It didn’t add up, and neither did the numbers in Fulton County. The first machine count had dragged on for days after Nov. 4, the day Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger promised the counting would be finished and President Trump’s over 103,000 vote lead was insurmountable. The 17,234 votes Fulton County had to come up with were important.

“The recount, we concluded that on Wednesday night [Dec. 2],” Barron said at the Fulton Election Board meeting to certify the results. “We submitted our results and then yesterday the state allowed us to do reconciliation. The results changed.”

That was an understatement.

When you have a problem like a 17,000 vote discrepancy in an election you’re claiming was decided by less than 13,000 votes, who do you call? The Elections Group, of course. They seemed to pop up everywhere, out of nowhere, in 2020. Setting up drop boxes and training election officials in Madison, Wisconsin. Programming the machines in Maricopa County, Arizona. Its members briefing CISA on how to “#PROTECT2020.” Protect it from whom?

Barron sent an email to Ryan Macias, of the Elections Group, at 12:13 p.m. There was no subject and nothing in the body of the email, only a file attached, a very important file, entitled, “Batches Loaded Report.”

Three and a half years after that email was sent, the Georgia State Election Board heard the results of an investigation into the recount, and confirmed Fulton County violated election rules.

The evidence brought by independent investigators showed over 20,000 ballots were inserted into both the original results and the second machine count out of thin air. Simply put, Fulton County did not have the paper ballots to justify their original results, and they got caught. Of course, investigators and lawyers from Brad Raffensperger’s Secretary of State office, who handled the investigation into the complaint, claimed otherwise. Don’t worry about the electronic record of the votes (which are counted…electronically), they said, we have the paper ballots — they just won’t let anyone else see them. And Fulton County is seeking to destroy them. Sure, the investigation confirmed there are missing ballot images and duplicate ballots. Were they counted? Who’s to say? It’s not like they could go check the cast vote record and the paper ballots. Oh, wait.

The mantra during the hours-long review of the case at the Georgia State Capitol last month was, “Let’s just move on.” Tell that to President Donald J. Trump and 18 others who Fulton County is trying to put in jail over the 2020 Election.

Widely reported Palestinian father-son ‘rape’ confession contradicted by piles of evidence

Alleged “confessions” by two Palestinians in Israeli custody, who were filmed admitting to multiple rapes, murders, and kidnappings on October 7, do not match the events of that day, are contradicted by copious evidence, and were likely coerced through torture. US and British media are running with the stories regardless.

On May 23, 2024, Britain’s Daily Mail published what it described as “exclusive” interrogation tapes it had been handed by Israeli intelligence. The Murdoch-owned tabloid claimed the supposed confessions exposed a pair of “father and son Hamas rapists” who had admitted “going house to house carrying out sex attacks and murder.” The proof of this apparent bombshell story consisted of two short snippets of heavily edited footage in which a wide-eyed Palestinian father and son are shown confessing to raping, killing, and kidnapping Israeli civilians from Kibbutz Nir Oz in Israel on October 7th.

In the videos, the pair, listed by the Daily Mail as “Shameless Jamal Hussein Ahmad Radi, 47, and his son Abdallah, 18,” seemingly admit to heinous crimes including a double homicide, kidnapping a mother and daughter, gangraping and murdering a woman, and kidnapping an Israeli resident.

In an appeal to emotion aimed at making the very questioning of the confessions’ reliability an act of siding with monsters, the Daily Mail writes, “An evil father and son have revealed…] how they killed and raped innocent civilians.” The opening sentence distills the essence of the article as a whole: “These confessions further prove that any attempt to deny the horrors of October 7th… is part of a campaign… to promote the justification of terrorism.”

This investigation will expose the videos, and the Western media coverage of them, as yet another cynical example of Israeli propaganda designed to manufacture support for Tel Aviv’s assault on the Gaza Strip. Indeed, the claims made in the videos are not only uncorroborated by any evidence gathered by Israel, they are contradicted by copious documentation of the deaths which occurred in Nir Oz on October 7.

The co-author of the Daily Mail article promoting the supposed confession videos turns out to have been an obscure Israeli-based writer with little prior experience in investigative journalism, stridently anti-Palestinian views and a Twitter timeline featuring a smiling selfie of herself with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at an official British embassy gala in Tel Aviv.

HEZBOLLAH ATTACKS ISRAELI NAVAL SITE WITH DRONES

Hezbollah attacked on June 27 the Naqoura naval site of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) near Lebanon’s border with a number of suicide drone.

The attack was carried out in support of the “steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and to support their brave and honorable resistance,” the group said in a statement, adding that facilities housing Israeli soldiers and officers within the targeted site were hit and a fire broke out there.

The IDF confirmed at least one drone struck the coastal area where the naval site is located. Hebrew media also said that a fire erupted in the site after the attack. However, there were no reports of any casualties.

The attack came following a series of Israeli strikes that targeted Lebanon’s South and Beqaa governorates, causing some losses.

Late on June 26, an Israeli strike destroyed a two-story building in the southern town of Nabatieh, wounding at least five civilians.

Bloodbath at Paramount as Studio Announces $500M in Cuts

Paramount will soon begin selling off pieces of the studio and cutting $500 million in overhead, which means staffing cuts.

Paramount’s three co-CEOs — Brian Robbins, who runs the movie studio, Chris McCarthy, who handles Showtime and MTV, and George Cheeks, who oversees CBS — brought some 500 employees to the lot Tuesday for what’s known as a Come to Jesus Meeting.

The good news: revenues have increased 13 percent over the last five years.

The bad news: operating income collapsed 61 percent.

The good news: the Paramount+ streaming service boosted subscribers from 67.5 million to 71 million during this last quarter.

The bad news: During that same quarter, Paramount+ lost $286 million.

“We’re looking at selling certain Paramount-owned assets,” Cheeks told the group. “In fact, we’ve already hired bankers to assist us in this process — and we’ll use the proceeds to help pay down debt and strengthen our balance sheet.”

…BET Networks or other linear TV assets like the non-CBS local TV stations (the company also owns brands like MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central), as well as potential assets like VidCon or even the free streaming service Pluto TV. Paramount has been executing a plan to “slim down to scale up” in streaming for several years now.

And then the bomb dropped.

The co-CEOs explained that they want to start “modernizing the organization ‘so we can move faster — and be more nimble’ via $500 million in annualized cost savings by eliminating duplicative functions and being more efficient with resources.”

And that means brutal job cuts.

Some employees asked if there was a timeline for when the cuts would be announced. The answer was no. That news would be forthcoming.

Paramount is obviously in serious trouble, which is why Paramount Global is basically up for sale and almost sold a few weeks ago. Eventually, an Apple or Amazon or Google will swallow it whole. They are probably just waiting for the studio to crater further and the stock price, which is already down 26 percent this year, to drop further.

There are 330 million people in America. If you are in the business of entertainment and can’t make a profit with that kind of customer pool, it can only mean one thing: your product sucks.

My guess is that one major loss of revenue for Paramount is in the cable/satellite TV area. As I’ve mentioned a million times, that rigged system benefited the studios to the tune of billions of unearned dollars per year. Just because it was part of your cable package, the studios make a ton of money whether or not you watch an MTV or BET. Now that tens of millions of smart people are canceling cable and moving to streaming, all that free money is drying up and these studios don’t know what to do.

You see, with cable, they made billions from tens of millions of cable subscribers who never watched their garbage. With streaming, in order to attract subscribers, the studios actually have to produce content people want to watch. Most of these studios have become so arrogant and insulated they no longer know how to do that—which is why Paramount+ lost $286 million last quarter.

Judge agrees to drop charges against Israeli diplomat's teen son who ran over Florida cop

The teenage son of an Israeli diplomat accused of running over a police officer in his motorcycle could soon have his record wiped clean.

Avraham Gil, 19, was arrested in January in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida - a suburb of Miami - after he intentionally ran his motorcycle over a police officer, leaving him with an 'incapacitating' leg injury, according to authorities.

On Monday, Miami offered the teen a pre-trial diversion program - usually offered to first-offenders - that will allow him to avoid prison time, as reported by NBC Miami.

Gil instead has to do 100 hours of community service, traffic school and also abide by a no-driving order. He must also donate $500 to the Ryder Trauma Center.

Prosecutors will drop the charge against him for aggravated assault on a law enforcement if he completes the program.
