Happened to us once. General aviation. Landed and taxied to the FPO as per tower instructions. Big Storm that we had just flown through was hot on our heels. Needed to kiss the ground, refuel, piss (or clean out our pants as the case may have been) and wheels up before storm caught us again. Was able to get fuel but FPO was locked tight. Men went behind the building. Women hoofed it down the tarmac in search of restroom, stopped by wild eyed TSA agent who escorted them into terminal backwards through security walking past a AA who passengers were boarding via the tarmac. When the girls emerged from the bathroom, they were not allowed back through security and were told they needed to leave the terminal via the front door. They did and were immediately surrounded by police and TSA - corralling them against the airport fence, guns pointed at them, and telling them they were authorized to shoot. Long story short - 1. We made the terrorist watch list that day. 2. They had to evacuate the passengers from the AA jet, search it, and have them go back through security (in case one of our ladies passed "something" to one of passengers). 3. The tower went to bat for us and we got back in the air ahead of the storm (barely) and had a wonderful vacation and a story.
