If there happened to be an incident that took out both Trump and Biden, wouldn't that take care of the Left's current biggest problems while at the same time not looking like a targeted attack on Trump? It would keep a mass uprising in check as they could say… "Look, we lost one of our own too. Why don't we all just mourn together and unite as a Country?" It would be the perfect plan.
