Thinking out loud. The 25th is moot and Bidan isn't going to step down. Not from the white house or the primary. It's too late to remove him from the ballot in some states already. Even if they completely toss out everything at the convention, the replacement won't have their name on the ballot. Not having an election doesn't work either, bidan would have to be forced out. You'd need to basically shut down the whole country or the whole govt to do something completely outside of the laws under some sort of emergency situation. And guess who can exercise their power if the govt is non functional? MIL.

1) if Republicans are smart, they'll let bidan stay in and self destruct the dem party as much as possible. I don't see it happening.

3) Removing bidan under the 25th does not make him ineligible to be on the ballot, or to run or even win. It only ends his current term. I dont think they explicitly banned a 25th'ed president from another term, it would have been considered an impossible scenario. They figured if that ever happened, the person would be in a hospital or old folks home. They want someone like Romney or Newsome or Whitmer.
