Weaponization of the Dollar

The basic compact that the US populace has with its government is that the populace will allow the government to govern via certain enumerated powers, on loan, from the populace.

In a sense, the basic compact that the world populace has with the US government is that it will use its dollar as es the reserve currency - a power that is on loan from the world populace.

When the US decided to piggishly sanction countries (cut them off from the dollar), the world populace started to decide to take back the power that was given to the US government. To take back the power, the weapon.

It's all so intuitive.

Marxism

I was listening to a young Marxist recently on a podcast. Although I totally disagree with Marxism as a form of government, I was impressed with his respectfulness and open dialogue. I was also seeing that almost every group in the US right now can agree that the current oligarchy must go, and must go now.

My thought was then, what will replace it? and how will that process play out? The answer is this - if the Marxists want to try and set up a local Marxist utopia, have at it. People can choose to live there or not. As long as the federal government is prevented from meddling in local politics, to let localities live as they wish to live, what is the problem?

What prevents the federal government from meddling? The US constitution.

My point is, we already have a form of government that allows for lots of local rule and locals to live as they see fit. So, in theory, as long as a group is not advocating for a powerful federal government, it can ally with any other group who does not advocate for a powerful federal government. Critical mass should already exist .
