Victims, Families of Oct. 7 Hamas Terrorist Attacks Sue UNRWA for $1 Billion

UNRWA is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East.

Details around the horrific Hamas terrorist attacks on October 7 continue to emerge, including reports that at least 12 UNRWA staffers took part in the mass slaughter of innocent Jews.

Of the 12 UNRWA workers accused of participating in the October 7 massacre, seven were reportedly teachers, two were educational consultants and others were humanitarian aid warehouse managers.

Now, more than 100 victims of October 7 and their families are suing UNRWA for $1 billion.

The 167-page lawsuit, filed in New York, accuses UNRWA of aiding and abetting the terror group’s assault.

The suit names the defendants as UNRWA and seven of its past and current leaders, including current Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini.

The Times of Israel reports:

It said UNRWA, which coordinates nearly all aid to Gaza, let Hamas use its facilities for weapons storage, allowed tunnels and command centers to be built under its sites, and funneled cash into the terror group’s coffers by insisting on paying employees in US dollars.

“Hamas did not carry out these atrocities without assistance,” the lawsuit said. “Defendants were warned repeatedly that their policies were directly providing assistance to Hamas,” it asserted. “In the face of those warnings, Defendants continued those very policies.”

Several hostages released by Hamas have already testified they were held in the homes of so-called “United Nations” workers, who are often affiliated with Hamas.

One of the hostages, recently released from Gaza, revealed that he was held for nearly 50 days in an attic by a teacher from UNRWA, Channel 13 journalist Almog Boker reported.

The hostage said the teacher who held him captive was a father of 10 children who barely provided food or medical attention and locked the hostage away.

The Palestinians are the only refugee group in the world with their own UN agency.

UNRWA has 30,000 employees, 99% of whom are Palestinians.

Enia Krivine, Senior Director of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies’ (FDD) Israel Program, told The New York Post that the Hamas terrorists that kidnapped 240 and butchered 1200 Israelis Oct. 7 “are a generation of Gazans who have been raised in UNRWA camps.”

“UNRWA was established to perpetuate the refugee problem.”

“The whole purpose of refugee programs is to reduce refugees and to repatriate refugees and to give them a life and a nation,” she added. “UNRWA does the inverse. UNRWA also teaches anti-semitic, anti-Israel content in their schools. It’s really a scandal that the US and the Europeans have funded these curricula through generations of Palestinians.

“UNRWA has been used as staging grounds for attacks. They’ve discovered terror tunnels under UNRWA buildings, registered Hamas members have been employed by UNRWA — it is rotten to the core.”

Over 80 UK war planes deployed from Cyprus to Lebanon since 7 Oct: Report

The UK defense ministry refuses to disclose the nature of the flights or that their cargo

The UK has sent over 80 military transport planes to the Lebanese capital of Beirut since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza nine months ago, Declassified UK reported on 28 June.

All the flights have gone from the UK’s massive Akrotiri airbase on the nearby island of Cyprus, long a staging post for UK bombing missions in West Asia.

Declassified UK notes that the number of UK military flights to Beirut has risen dramatically in recent months. The group tracked 25 flights in April and May and 14 so far in June.

Flights from the UK base take around 45 minutes to reach Beirut, which Israel has increasingly threatened to bomb in a possible full-scale war with the Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah.

The Ministry of Defense declined to disclose the number of UK military flights to Lebanon since the start of the war on 7 October or their purpose.

A defense source told Declassified UK that the flights “have been primarily for the purpose of facilitating senior military engagement” with the Lebanese army.

But it is widely assumed the planes are carrying weapons to Beirut to arm anti-Hezbollah militias. The US, UK, and Israel would presumably use these militias to attack Hezbollah from within the country in the case of an Israeli invasion from the south.

Declassified UK notes that nearly every Royal Air Force flight to Lebanon has been the Voyager KC mark 2, which can carry a payload of 45 tons and 291 personnel or provide air-to-air refueling. Another flight involved a vast C-17 cargo plane.

Israeli threats to invade Lebanon have accelerated in tandem with the increase in flights.

Israeli military leaders have increasingly warned of a Lebanon campaign to push Hezbollah away from the border and past the Litani River.

Last week, the Israeli army approved “operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon,” and the US pledged to support Israel with weapons if a full-scale war breaks out.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah warned the resistance movement will use its massive rocket and missile arsenal to hit targets across Israel in a “total war” if Tel Aviv decides to launch an invasion.

Nasrallah also threatened Cyprus, noting its role as a US, UK, and Israeli staging ground.

“The Cypriot government must be warned that opening Cypriot airports and bases for the Israeli enemy to target Lebanon means that the Cypriot government has become part of the war and the resistance [Hezbollah] will deal with it as part of the war,” he said.

Nasrallah’s threat appeared to include the Akrotiri base, which lies in territory retained by the UK when Cyprus gained independence in 1960. The territory now hosts vast military and intelligence hubs for Britain and the US, Declassified UK notes.

Over 47,000 Palestinians killed, wounded or missing in Gaza since Oct. 7

Gaza's Health Ministry recently reported that Israel's ongoing assault on Gaza has resulted in over 47,000 Palestinians killed, wounded or missing, with at least 3,000 massacres documented since Oct. 7, 2023.

Ministry officials highlighted that they are operating with minimal equipment in the northern Gaza Strip as Israel continues to block the delivery of medicines, medical supplies and fuel to the besieged enclave.

"We are trying to restart vital departments in the Al-Shifa Medical Complex and the Indonesian Hospital," the ministry stated.

Both hospitals have been directly targeted by the Israeli army during the 258 days of conflict in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry has recorded 37,431 Palestinian deaths and estimates at least 10,000 bodies are trapped under rubble, unreachable by health workers. Approximately 5,000 of these are believed to be children.

Three-quarters of the registered deaths are children (about 15,747), women (10,406) and elderly people. Over 85,653 individuals have been injured due to Israel's bombing of the strip, most of whom are children and women.

The ministry also noted that 98 percent of children in Gaza lack access to safe drinking water.

At least 33 children across the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas, have died from malnutrition and dehydration amid a growing famine, according to the ministry.

Israel continues its offensive on the Gaza Strip, pushing further into the southernmost city of Rafah despite international condemnation.

Rafah Mayor Ahmed al-Soufi told Anadolu Agency that "over 70 percent of public facilities and infrastructure have been destroyed in the Israeli onslaught." Soufi noted that Israel recently destroyed dozens of homes in western Rafah's Saudi neighborhood.

Israel claims only 16,000 civilians killed in Gaza

Last month, Israel published its own estimate of the death toll in Gaza, claiming that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have killed 14,000 alleged terrorists and 16,000 civilians in the Strip. At around this same time, the Gaza Health Ministry claimed that around 35,000 people had died and nearly 25,000 of those had been "fully identified."

The death toll does not distinguish between combatants and civilians, but both Gaza authorities and third parties like the United Nations have confirmed that most of the casualties are women and children.

The Israeli government and the IDF have sharply criticized the Gaza Health Ministry's casualty figures and media outlets for supposedly uncritically reporting the death and injury tolls of the conflict in Gaza, claiming that its own numbers are more reliable.

"Israel has repeatedly stated that the numbers coming out of Gaza, which are being echoed by UN agencies, have been manipulated by the Hamas terrorist organization," claimed Oren Marmorstein of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Public Affairs and Media Division. "[The numbers] are not accurate, and they do not reflect the reality on the ground."

Meanwhile, World Health Organization spokesperson Christian Lindmeier has defended the accuracy of Gaza's casualty estimates, telling reporters in Geneva that there is "nothing wrong with the data," and the fact that Gaza health workers and international volunteers have been working tirelessly to positively identify nearly 25,000 of those killed in Gaza "is a step forward."

Fact-checking network says online fact checks arent censorship

We now live in a world where “fact-checkers” organize “annual meetings” – one is happening just this week in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

These censorship-overseers for other companies (most notably massive social platforms like Facebook, etc.) have not only converged onto Sarajevo but have issued a “statement” that includes the town’s name.

The Poynter Institute is a major player in this space, and its International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) serves to coordinate censorship for Meta, among others.

It was up to IFCN now to issue the “Sarajevo statement” on behalf of 130 groups in the “fact-checking” business, a burgeoning industry at this point spreading its tentacles to at least 80 countries – that is how many are behind the said statement.

No surprise, these “fact-checkers” like themselves, and see nothing wrong with what they do; the self-affirming statement refers to the (Poynter-led) brand of “fact-checking” as essential to free speech (will someone fact-check that statement, though?)

The reason the focus is on free speech is clear – “fact-checkers” have over and over again proven themselves to be either inept, biased, serving as tools of censorship, all three, or some combination of those.

That is why their “annual meeting” now declares, with a seemingly straight face, that “fact-checking” is not only a free-speech advocate but “should never be considered a form of censorship.”

But who’s going to tell Meta? In the wake of the 2016 US presidential elections, Facebook basically became the fall guy picked by those who didn’t like the outcome of the vote, accusing the platform of being the place where a (since debunked) massive “misinformation meddling campaign” happened.

Aware of the consequences its business might suffer if such a perceived image continued, Facebook by 2019, just ahead of another election, had as many as 50 “fact-checking” partners, “reviewing and rating” content.

In 2019, reports were clearly spelling out how the thing works – it’s in stark contrast with the “Sarajevo statement” and the “… never censorship…” claim.

And this is how it worked: “Fact-checked” posts are automatically marked on Facebook, and videos that have been rated as “false” are still shareable but are shown lower in news feeds by Facebook’s algorithm.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also said that warning labels on posts curb the number of shares by 95%.

“We work with independent fact-checkers. Since the COVID outbreak, they have issued 7,500 notices of misinformation which has led to us issuing 50 million warning labels on posts. We know these are effective because 95% of the time, users don’t click through to the content with a warning label,” Zuckerberg revealed.

That was before the 2020 vote. There is not one reason to believe that, if things have in the meanwhile changed, they have changed for the better – at least where free speech is concerned.

Contractors with bulldozers accompanied by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops arrived in Umm al-Kheir, a village mostly home to shepherds, on Wednesday morning and demolished six houses, tent residences, an electricity generator, solar cells and water tanks, according to residents and Israeli activists who documented the proceedings. Agricultural land and fences were also damaged and trees uprooted.

The demolition has destroyed about a third of the village’s infrastructure.

“We have fought in the Israeli courts for years against this as most of the village is under threat of demolition and they have done this before,” said Eid Suleiman, a resident. “But they came this time without telling our lawyer. We didn’t have time to collect our belongings.

“We have put up some tents to keep the children cool in the heat. But we are afraid the soldiers will come back and take those too because they say we are building illegally.”

Biden Admin Seals Covid Vaccines Safety Data Until 2026

President Joe Biden’s administration has sealed critical safety data related to Covid mRNA vaccines to ensure it is hidden from the American people until at least 2026.

In a motion filed with a district court, the Department of Justice (DOH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) reportedly requested for an 18-month stay concerning a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request lodged by America First Legal (AFL) and Just The News.

The FOIA request sought to obtain data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

According to the two agencies, an influx of pandemic-related FOIA requests is overwhelming the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

They added that releasing vaccine records requires extensive staff training and onboarding, which could take up to two years.

While staffers were reportedly hired for this purpose, they are still undergoing training.

FOIA requires government agencies to release requested information unless it negatively affects interests like personal privacy, national security, and law enforcement.

But according to the motion filed by the HHS and DOJ, the FDA has been dealing with FOIA requests amounting to “approximately 5.7 million pages of COVID-19 vaccine records in a compressed timeframe.”

According to the National Pulse, AFL and Just The News are suing the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to obtain data on COVID-19 vaccine reactions.

These reports are ostensibly “kept in a back-end, nonpublic system” separate from the publicly accessible VAERS.

U.S. DRONES CONTINUE TO HARASS RUSSIAN WARPLANES OVER SYRIA (VIDEO)

For the third time in less than a week, an MQ-9 Reaper combat drone of the United States-led coalition flew dangerously close to a fighter jet of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syria’s airspace, according to the deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria.

In a briefing, Major General Yury Popov said that the dangerous encounter took place over the central governorate of Homs.

“From 11:35 a.m. to 11:46 a.m. local time on June 28, a coalition’s MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance combat unmanned aerial vehicle dangerously approached a Russian Su-35 plane making a planned flight over Syria at an altitude of from 7,000 to 8,000 meters,” the military official said, adding that the Russian pilot demonstrated high professionalism and took timely measures to prevent a collision.

Video footage of the encounter surfaced online on the same day. In the footage, the U.S.-led coalition drones appear to be armed and equipped with intelligence gathering systems.
