a 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Austin, Lander County, Nevada, USA. The tremor was recorded in the afternoon on Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at 4:35 pm local time, at a very shallow depth of 0.1 miles below the surface.

The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.

A second report was later issued by The Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS), which listed it as a magnitude 4.3 earthquake as well. A third agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the same quake at magnitude 4.3.
