The media isn't going after Biden because of the debate or his health status. They're going after him potentially because of the implications of some of the SCOTUS decisions but MOST CERTAINLY because of Assange being released. The way that went down, they realized a deal had been struck, one likely initiated by Trump, but on which the Biden admin followed through. They got confirmation that Biden isn't "their guy" and that's why they've set their sights on him. Trump has now taken the spotlight off of him and put it onto the new war between dem politicians vs. the media. The media realized they don't have cover anymore under this admin, and now they're realizing that for whatever reason, the dem establishment cannot participate in their attempt to takedown Biden.
