Three Ardmore veterans recognized, inducted into Hall of Honor
Oklahoma State Representative Josh Cantrell said he was honored to help recognize three Ardmore veterans: Colonel Arnold Muncrief, Command Sergeant Major Jerry Goode, and Master Sergeant Pamela Nelson.
“When we acknowledge their service and what they do, I think it makes us better,” Cantrell said. “It makes the country better, and certainly the state of Oklahoma.”
Rear Admiral Wesley Hull began the induction service inside the Greater Southwest Historical Museum on Tuesday afternoon.
“They have served our state and nation in a very honorable fashion,” Hull said.
The three veterans have served nearly a hundred years combined, including through the Cold War, Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom, and even responding here in Oklahoma after the Oklahoma City bombing.
