Somebody was at DC in Zelensky’s AC and arrived on Monday taking the same route: Rzeszow-Shannon-JBA.

The State Dept. has, of course, rejected Orban’s ceasefire proposal and reasserted that those “bad” Russians must ‘vacate’ Ukrainian territory. Obviously they have forgotten (conveniently) how that region has evolved over the last few hundred years.

No matter as by doing this again they have sealed the fate of what remains of the Ukrainian Army and VP should begin the process of ending this for good. A decision not taken lightly but no other options left-the west has had numerous opportunities to negotiate and refused.

Next week is NATO summit in DC and yet another defiant display will be put forth but it’s been over for well over 1.5 years.

In the week ending June 29, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 238,000, an increase of 4,000 from the previous week's revised level. The previous week's level was revised up by 1,000 from 233,000 to 234,000. The 4-week moving average was 238,500, an increase of 2,250 from the previous week's revised average. The previous week's average was revised up by 250 from 236,000 to 236,250.The previous week was revised up.

Weekly claims were higher than the consensus forecast.
