In a move that has generated significant political and public interest, Senators Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) have initiated an investigation into whether Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis misused federal funds. This investigation centers on allegations that Willis’ office has been inappropriately utilizing federal funds meant for specific programs, including a Department of Justice (DOJ) juveniles’ program, for unrelated travel and frivolous expenditures.
