Suggestions have emerged as to why Comedian and TV star Ellen DeGeneres has abruptly cancelled a few of her upcoming comedy shows.

Ticketmaster has revealed that four of the comedian's upcoming shows have been cancelled, shortly after kickstarting her multi-city stand-up tour.

‘To Di For’ podcast host, Kinsey Schofield joined Sky News host Rita Panahi to discuss why Ellen had cancelled some of her upcoming events.

Ms Schofield questioned whether or not it was due to a lack of people buying tickets.

“I wonder personally if people aren’t buying tickets and that’s why they had to cancel the shows,” she said.
