A New York Times investigation has uncovered allegations of war crimes committed by members of an American-led international volunteer unit fighting for Ukraine.
โ The unit, known as Chosen Company, is accused of killing unarmed Russian soldiers and prisoners of war in at least three separate incidents.
โ German medic Caspar Grosse, a former member of the unit, has come forward with eyewitness accounts of these alleged killings.
"I was so upset by the episode that he confronted his commander."
โ Video evidence reviewed by the Times appears to show a member of Chosen Company throwing a grenade at a surrendering Russian soldier with raised hands.
โ The Ukrainian military later released an edited version of this footage, omitting the surrender.
โ Text messages from a group chat, also obtained by the Times, reveal unit members boasting about killing Russian prisoners of war.
โ One soldier, using the call sign Andok, wrote: "If anything comes out about alleged POW blamming, I ordered it."

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY WE DON'T PUT SERIAL NUMBERS ON EVERY BALLOT?
Wouldn't this be an easy check to make sure the ballots were not printed somewhere illegally (like China) and then mailed in fraudulently or that the ballots were not filled out and transported across state lines, etc?
With computers and the ability to see whether all numbers were the numbers issued for the particular county/cross-check - seems to me this would be a very easy thing to do - Oh and if you have two with the same serial number or they didn't come from the county in which the voter was registered to vote - then someone needs to be charged with fraud most likely.
