I think, 'reptillian' is a term used to describe something we don't quite have words for….
So, it's not that 'they' are anthropomorphized reptile aliens, but that 'reptile' is the closest association we can equate.
I think we are on a path to disclosure and discovery, but are first required to rid our world of evil (a kind of critical mass requirement).
