US companies buy 17 million hectares in the east and south of Ukraine

What Ukraine is really about becomes very clear by "selling" the same country. Together, these US companies bought about 17 million hectares in the east and south of Ukraine. BlackRock and others form a group to try to pressure Ukraine to start repaying its debts

A group of foreign bondholders have taken steps to force Ukraine to begin repaying its debts as soon as next year, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday.

If they succeed, Kiev could haemorrhage $500 million every year on interest payments alone.

The group, which includes investment giants BlackRock and Pimco, granted Kiev a two-year debt holiday in 2022, gambling that the conflict with Russia would have concluded by now.

With no end to the fighting in sight, the lenders have now hired lawyers at Weil Gotshal & Manges and bankers from PJT Partners to meet with Ukrainian officials and strike a deal whereby Ukraine would resume making interest payments next year in exchange for having a significant chunk of its debt written off, anonymous sources told the Wall Street Journal.

The group holds around a fifth of Ukraine's $20 billion in outstanding Eurobonds, the newspaper reported. While this figure represents a fraction of Ukraine’s total external debt of $161.5 billion, servicing the interest on these bonds would cost the country $500 million annually, the bondholders said.

Should the bondholders fail to strike a deal with Kiev by August, Ukraine could default. This would damage the country's credit rating and restrict its ability to borrow even more money in the future.

According to the newspaper, Ukrainian officials are hoping that the US and other Western governments will take its side during talks with the bondholders. However, a group of these countries have already offered Ukraine a debt holiday on around $4 billion worth of loans until 2027, and are reportedly concerned that any deal with the bondholders would see private lenders being repaid before them.

Ukraine already relies on foreign aid to keep government departments open and state employees paid. The country's military is almost entirely dependent on foreign funding; officials in Kiev and the West were predicting imminent defeat until the US Congress approved a foreign aid bill last month which included $61 billion for Ukraine and US government agencies involved in the conflict.

The bill provides almost $14 billion to Ukraine for the purchase of weapons, and includes $9 billion in new "forgivable loans."

According to the Wall Street Journal, some bondholders have suggested that the US and EU could use frozen Russian assets to pay off Ukraine’s debts. While around $300 billion in assets belonging to the Russian central bank have been frozen in American and European banks since 2022, the US only passed legislation allowing for their seizure last month, and no similar legal mechanism exists in Europe, where the vast majority of these assets are held.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and European Central Bank (ECB) have both urged governments not to steal this money, with ECB chief Christine Lagarde warning last month that doing so would risk "breaking the international order that you want to protect."

Pentagon Scheming to Force-Feed U.S. Troops “Experimental’” Lab-Grown Meat to Reduce Carbon Emissions – Military Veterans Respond

Joe Biden’s Pentagon has a plan to use our soldiers as guinea pigs to combat “climate change” to appease their globalist overlords.

The Washington Free Beacon broke an explosive story last week revealing that a Pentagon-funded company called BioMADE wants to reduce the Military’s carbon footprint by force-feeding active members “experimental” lab-grown meat with Biden regime’s full support.

The company has received over $500 million in funding from the Pentagon.

“Innovations in food production that reduce the CO2 footprint of food production at and/or transport to DoD operational environments are solicited,” the company announced in an informational document. “These could include, but are not limited to, production of nutrient-dense military rations via fermentation processes, utilizing one carbon molecule (C1) feedstocks for food production, and novel cell culture methods suitable for the production of cultivated meat/protein.”

This includes lab-grown meat, which is created from animal cells with the aid of other chemicals. This method is still in its experimental phase and has unknown effects on human health.

“There’s a large number of active reserve guard members who are still a little jaded from the COVID shot and are very unwilling to be part of the new experiment,” one veteran told the Daily Caller.

Rob O’Neill, a former U.S. Navy Seal, told the Caller this proposal betrays the primary mission of America’s military, which is national security.

“The military’s job is forward defense, alliance, solidarity, and deterrence, and that’s it,” O’Neill explained. “All that other stuff is crap that is typical Washington DC nonsense.”

“Lab-grown meat and the military’s carbon footprint should be the least of the US government’s worries,” O’Neill continued. “It’s a shame that we’re going to find out the hard way who our real enemies are, as we’re, you know, don’t think China, Russia, and Iran are worried about lab-grown meat. They’re worried about taking over the world. And we’re not.”

“It appears that until new Defense Department leadership builds a winning force, service members will continue surviving off scraps,” Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller said.

Eric Greitens, former Governor of Missouri and Navy SEAL, called the scheme “height of woke nonsense” and a perfect example why the military is facing a vast recruiting crisis.

“The purpose of the military is to win our wars and to kill our enemies,” Greitens told the Caller. “Trying to force troops to eat lab-grown meat to reduce CO2 emissions is the height of woke nonsense. It’s such a stupid idea that in any sane world, it would be considered a joke.

“When you add woke nonsense like this to the debacle in Afghanistan and the policy of kicking people out of the military for refusing the experimental COVID-19 vaccine, you begin to understand why the military is facing a massive recruiting crisis.”

Martin Bailey, a former U.S. Special Forces member, demanded to know why the U.S. military is being used as lab rats for the Biden regime’s New World Order garbage and when other groups are rightfully exempt.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is facing blowback for helping pay out millions of dollars to medical providers who treat illegal immigrants while they are in federal custody — while a backlog of hundreds of thousands of claims from veterans has grown.

The VA’s Austin, Texas-based Financial Services Center (FSC) has been contracted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since 2002 to process reimbursement claims by providers who offer services to detained migrants.

In fiscal year 2022, which ended Sept. 30 of that year, FSC processed 161,538 such claims, with the ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) paying out an average of $584 — a total of $94.3 million in taxpayer money, according to a July 2023 Department of Homeland Security report on “Healthcare Costs for Noncitizens in Detention.”

In the previous fiscal year, 2021, ICE’s health care arm budgeted more than $74 million for the VA’s FSC to assist with “outside referral care” and “medical claims processing,” according to a report from July 2022.

Meanwhile, the pile of benefit claims by veterans and their families awaiting adjudication has grown to 417,855, according to the VA’s own website — up from around 150,000 as of late 2022.

When contacted by The Post, the VA was adamant that the veteran claims backlog and the millions of dollars doled out to migrant health care providers were not related.

“VA does not provide or fund any health care to ICE detainees,” VA spokesman Terrence Hayes told The Post.

“This involves no more than 10 employees and is fully funded by ICE. This has no impact [on] veteran care or services,” Hayes added. “At no time are any VA health care professionals or VA funds used for this purpose.”

“I am a disabled veteran and get 100% of my health care through the Veterans’ Affairs system,” Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.), a retired Navy SEAL who sits on the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, told The Post.

“It is incredibly insulting to our veterans who risked our lives defending this nation, and it should shock the American taxpayers that the Biden administration is using VA resources to provide health care to illegal aliens,” he vented.

Van Orden added that the VA’s work with ICE is “despicable and needs to be stopped immediately,” while noting that “many veterans have to travel hours and wait weeks to be seen at a VA facility.”

The office of Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) accused the Biden administration of “playing word games.”

“They can’t deny that they’re using Community Care Network providers for illegals. By definition, that means worse options for our veterans,” a spokesperson for the senator told The Post, referring to non-VA practitioners who offer services to veterans such as urgent care, surgeries and dialysis.
