Voting can be made more accurate by having each voter recorded on video at their precinct holding their completed ballot up so it's visible on camera, and then saying into the camera "My name is * and this is the front and back of my 2024 ballot". Then each video is uploaded to multiple servers (DNC, GOP, NSA, etc.) and archived for future reference as needed.

To vote, a voter must vote in person and show proof of citizenship and identification. After voting and recording their 10-second video, the voter's thumb is placed in traceable purple dye. They can only have one ballot and one video.

The paper ballots are collected and counted and always kept locked and under the watchful eye of multiple parties until they expire 7 years into the future.

Then, in the 3 days following an election if a candidate in any race believes there is fraud, he requests a random sample of 1,000 ballots. He then is given access to the associated 1,000 videos and cross-checks them. If no discrepancies are found, he loses, or ponies up $x to pay for a subsequent larger sample of 5,000 random ballots. If no discrepancies are found, he loses and goes home.

Additionally, ballots are to be saved for 7 years as are the videos. All citizens have the right to requests access to both during the seven years to insure there has been no theft.

Any discrepancies between a ballot and video will immediately be shared with the county Sheriff, the voter, the candidates, and the media.

If convicted of voter fraud (changing a ballot, or deleting, or inserting one) the guilty shall be sentenced to life in jail.

There, now America can have free and fair elections.

Thanks. I agree and have modified the process. See below.

Voting is anonymous, so the videos which identify the voter's selections are kept secure.
