Breakdown of contributions by country to NATO. We are NATO. This is what Trump means when he says we have all the bargaining chips. We walk away, NATO crumbles.

They will pay, or NATO will be no more.

And to be clear, the combined total of ALL OTHER NATIONS is 270,661 (in millions). The US contributes 685,957 (in millions).

That means we contribute more than 2.5 times more than all other countries in NATO combined.

We contribute 71.71% of NATO's total budget.

How is that even remotely fair?

Ah, that makes sense. My bad. So %GDP is the notable aspect of the graphic.

That still shows we contribute 1.2% more of our GDP than the next country, and more than double the average country.

But considering our military spending, the percentages are even more profound and unfair than I originally thought.

That makes what Trump is asking for even more fair. Nowhere near a similar contribution, only a similar percentage. Even more ridiculous that they have been neglectful this whole time.
