I mostly agree with Shapiro’s analysis of the guy. He’s overall a win. Second most conservative judge, excellent on 2A, separation of powers/anti-chevron. Solid philosophy of judiciaiting.
Potentially weak on 4A, but the wiggle might be strategic and good for the Storm. Too narrow in his writings means a slower chip away at liberal damage done. Not a grand slam nominee, but perhaps a solid triple.
After another, more conservative nomination, he will be useful to have seated. Nominee makes sense in the long game, but was maybe my third choice for pure endorphin release.
