Trump's VP

Was just thinking about the Trump-Biden debate last week. Trump said he had already chosen and that his pick would be in attendance. iirc there wasn't an audience. No one in attendance. Only Trump, Jake Tapper, and the actor wearing the Biden mask (remember "I am the mask president"). Is Trump's VP pick doing the Biden act?
