As a Swedefag I can give you the scoop: Swedes think they're far more important than they are!
Could Russia possibly invade Sweden at some point? Yes, it's certainly within the realm of possibility. But if they ever did, it would only be as part of a larger war with NATO, a strategic move to secure a perimeter around their arctic fleet base in Murmansk and keep NATO out of the baltic sea, nothing more. It's not Sweden itself they would be after. Sweden just isn't important to anyone other than Swedes themselves.
But listen to Swedish media and you'd think Russia is looking at Sweden like a starved dog eyes a piece of meat.
