I just finished the FBI ICP release
and it was a nothingburger that wasnt directly related to the musical group.
ICP are an interesting musical duo, and definitely not for everybody.
In a nutshell, they have one of the biggest followings in underground music and several small cliques have popped up around the country that follow the group with cult like status.
Because of the uptick in ICP fan related crimes from some of these cliques, the FBI classified the group's symbolism as gang-like but there werent really many incidents when compared to more profound gangs, though I can see why the FBI would do this to better identify them.
ICP have been on record several times telling their fans that their music is solely for entertainment, and in no way should anybody commit violence or wrongdoing and to instead love each other.
The thing with ICP is, they have almost always said fuck the mainstream industry. They had major beef with Eminem, and major beef with Sharon Osbourne, wife of Ozzy, among others.
They had a stint on WWF/E, just like Trump did, and thats about as mainstream as they ever got, I think.
Little to no radio play, no network interviews, and everything from their own music label, etc. but these docs dont do anything to paint a more conclusive picture, to me, if they are part of pizzagate and everything else more mainstream artists are connected to.
Maybe they will come up again down the line.
